Jedi Outcast: Hints, Tips, Strategies, Walkthroughs (no cheats allowed)

This has probably been mentioned before, but I found a way to beat Tavion without even fighting her. After the cutscene, run back into the building. While making sure she follows you into the building, head for the elevator, and take it up. Tavion will eventually kill herself trying to get to you.

 

One I just threw my lightsaber and cut her to pieaces!

 

How do you take a screenshot without the typeing thing on?

 

Bind it to a key.

 

How do I do that?

 

UP!

 

To place a short-cut key in, hold "shift" and at the same time press "tidle key"

Type in (bind X "Y")

X=The key you want the short-cut to be.
Y=The name of the code.
Eg. (bind k "screenshot")

 

This has probably been asked already, but where do you get the "password" to proceed past the room with the trapdoor on the Nar Shadaa Hideout?

Did you talk to Lando? If not, go back to the path that takes you up to the top level of the garbage room. In the hallway, there is a vent you can crawl through that ends in bars overlooking a room. Shoot the canisters and blow up the wall to get to Lando.

 

I got myself a bit of a problem, I'm playing the GC version and have got to the Nar Shaddaa staport. So I'm at the very end of the level where you have to take on Reelo and his guards from the Lady Luck, except when I try to use the cannon it just shuts itself off, and I'm NOT pressing the jump button! Sometimes it'll work, but if I try to move it in any direction, it shuts itself off again. Help?

 

I am stuck in the cairn bay and cant find away out of the hangers anyone help?

Desann = somehow easy?

K... I never really beat JKII before, so I decided to now. I started a few days ago and am now on Artus Topside. I'm playing on the hardest mode, BTW.

So, I get to Desann, and, first of all, he looks about 8 feet tall. Assuming Kyle is around 6'. So, I start to fight him. He force pulls me, pushes me to a wall away from me, then he'll pull me back, force grip me, push me high in the air, shoot me with force lightning, force push me away, repeat. No way to even get a single hit on him. How in the heck is this guy easy? Is there a strategy I didn't read?

Also, in multiplayer, how do I make my text colored?

EDIT: Never mind, just went to forcematch.com. I see Desann is supposed to beat ME.

I can't get through the colonel faydar or whatever his name is. The main guy (he must be near the end) that has a suit and I just destroyed the sheild generator for rogue squadran. You can't seem to get near him with the sheild and when you get the sheild down I threw everything from the lightsaber to all my weapons repeatedly to no avail. The sheild eventually comes back up and then I have to overload the thing again and I am out of ammo at that point. I tried getting up on the walkways and shooing down on top of him but he eventually blows those up. How do I get past him. The force seems to have no effect on him. Please email me what to do to dollarsaver@cox.net because I prolly won't check the forum. I, in fact, gave up on the game because after 20 tries with different techniques I had enough. Please let me know because I like the game until I got to this point. I went to forcematch and saw the walkthrough but it says shoot at the antenae. What with? if you get close he swats you with his big arm.

Shadowfire, i think you have to force push something to get around that door. I had the same problem.

 

well HAVOKK1, you have to kill the stormtroopers and then go through a big wide door. kill those stormtroopers as well then turn left. go through the doors and use the first switch, not the second. use the round switch on the keypad near the window. do that in both rooms, then retrace your steps and go down a big elevator and follow the tunnel. I hope that helps.

 

Dynamax, if you're talking about Desann, he's supposed to kill you; you can't kill him in that level, it's impossible

probaly covering old ground here but in the gc version i'm stuck in the cloudcity undercity with the ugnaunt etc
i can only see two routes out either thru the flame room - or in the first chamber you come to by the ascending platform there appears to be a entrance to jump to
but!! i can't seem to reach it
am i wasting my time jumping for it ???
help me!!!

 

That ascension lift. It's the one you get onto after slicing the grate and entering the building from the outside? Right? If so, then that alcove you're trying to jump up to is a secret area. And don't bother trying to jump up there. I tried repeatedly on my PC and couldn't get there. You need to enter the room with the Ugnaught and clear out the enemies there, as well as taking the lifts up to the Cloud Car garages and get some additional items if you want. Anyway, you need to use Mind Trick on the Ugnaught, then open the glass door and pass through the fire room before the fires come back.

You mean the far door in the fire room? Saber slash through the lock and the door'll open.

Don't think that'll work, jp-30. I recalled doing that and she Force pushed me every time.
