We have a few additions from Order 66, additionally, who survived.

What's the difference between Survivor and dead or uncertain fate? Like, why is Obi-wan listed as dead or uncertain fate and Vergere is a Survivor?

Also, you can move Kam Solusar up from uncertain background to uncertain fate.

    This thread rocks.
Anybody know off-hand how many of the O-66 survivors actually died at the end of Vader's blade? I'm too lazy to count.
    :p

Obi-Wan is listed as surviving O66 and later dying.

Kam is listed as surviving the entire Purge.

Since I have no life and was intrigued by this, I took 20 minutes to count them up. Here's the list:

    Aidan Bok
    Bol Chatak
Tsui Choi (Vader stopped him in midair so the stormies could shoot him)
    Siadem Forte
Fy-Tor-Ana (Vader had her asteroid base blown up)
    Kento Marek
    Obi-Wan Kenobi
    Iwo Kulka
An'ya Kuro a.k.a. The Dark Woman
    Ma'kis'shaalas
    Dama Montalvo
    Garen Muln (See Fy-Tor-Ana)
    Shadday Potkin
    Ry-Gaul (See Garen Muln)
    Echuu Shen-Jon
    Roan Shryne
Anakin Skywalker (From a certain point of view)
    Ranik Solusar
    Morvet Storm
    Tao
    Axton Tredway
    Sia-Lan Wezz
    Zonder
    Koffi Arana
    Sardoth

All but four prisoners on Byss
    Several of Halagad Ventor's associates
    Several Jedi guarding Tao

    NICE!!

Where does Sa Qui fit in?
    Wasn't he a fallen Jedi?
    I can't remember.

Damn that was a cool call... royal flush all in.

Yeah, I thought that as soon as I heard about TFU. The kid mowed down like a dozen clones at 14 or so. Perfect Apprentice material.

    Wow, this thread is alive!

Yes, we have a few additions now, that I won't post yet since they're still under spoiler policy (I think...)

About the strange group called "Uncertain background" I can tell you how I was thinking: This is a list of *Jedi* that survived the purge. Many non-jedi were killed during the purge as well, such as force-sensitives trained in other traditions or having no training at all, historians or scientists that refused to erase the knowledge of Jedi and the Force and other individuals considered dangerous to the New Order. These are not on the list, only those that had Jedi training as Order 66 went down are. In some cases, such as Galen Marek or Kam Solusar, we have individuals who might have been given training (by their fathers) before Sith happened, but we don't know if they did or not.

Kam did. He said so. And how else would he have learned it?

By the way there are WAY too many names on this list. Mega epic fail for the Emperor.

The question isn't how, but when. Basically, was Kam a padawan before Order 66, or did he learn the Jedi arts from his father afterward?

He did destroy the Order, and if he wiped them all out via the clones it takes away from the lines about Vader hunting down and killing Jedi.

Obviously, the focus sort of shifted, but you still must have had bounty hunters, stormtroopers, and dark siders hunting down both Jedi, force sensitives, and those who worked for the Order such as Antarian Rangers.

JEDI TWILIGHT is clear that it was more than just Jedi who died at the Temple and at the time of O66, it was anyone that stood with them. It was still a bloody night, but the purge itself would last years, and in an entire galaxy, it's not crazy to think that there would be several hundred survivors of the first strike.

ok, if T'ra and K'kruhk are around in Legacy, WHERE were they throughout the NR/NJO era? What were they doing? Why didn't they at least say hi to Luke?

I always like this question :D I've often felt that Darkhorse has trouble letting their characters go. So many important Clone Wars characters, add Vos and Hett to the above, seem immune to death for some reason.

I enjoy Legacy, but can't help but think that Vos is gonna swagger onto the pages of that comic one day. I'm keeping my fingers crossed hoping that doesn't happen. There are so many awesome characters lacking page time, and I really don't think the "survivors" add anything to the story, and that includes Krayt. Wryyylok, Nihl and even Maladi are much better characters in my opinion.:)

Now if it had been just Krayt I would be more forgiving, but he seemed to be the first of a trend.....

    Good bump!!

I don't really find anything impressive about Jedi's surviving Order 66....clonetroopers are not Sith Assassins and etc. Now those that survived the Jedi Purge....=D=. *With the exception of the cowards hiding at the "Hidden Temple".

I think it's also safe to assume Kajin Savaros didn't survive either. Considering that he had godlike powers (he made one Inquisitor dissolve into nothing), Darth Vader would've searched the entire universe to find him again....especially since he's the one that brainwashed him. Kajin would've been the perfect vessel to train to kill Darth Sidious. But since that role was passed on to Galen Marek, how else to explain not finding Kajin unless he is dead. [face_skull]

It's a shame they couldn't make Kajin into the SA, it'd have been a perfect tie-in.

Missed opportunity. I still can't believe nothing was tied in between the three Coruscant Nights novels and TFU.

You could say there's an indirect tie-in. After losing the bota and the pyronium, Vader would have more need of a powerful apprentice.
