Matt can you send me the stuff again for the hotel because I lost it all when I formatted my computer the other night.

 

I've re-sent the e-mail, but aol is playing up so can't be 100% sure you managed to get it.

Glad the virus is sorted, that's the last thing you need really
That's one good thing about Macs, most virus's are written for windows so problems aren't so common for us

The tickets arrived today. However, Mike's didn't
But I've e-mailed Rob and your ticket is now being sorted out mike, so should be with me very soon

J- If you haven't sent the cheque for the flights yet, then probably best not to bother as we might as well add the con tickets to it too.

Mike- I will create a paypal account and see if I can transfer money into my bank account from it. If so then that will probably be the best way to re-pay me

Another important issue, what are you two doing about your Stansted Express rail tickets?

I'm going to get mine and Ants some time this week. Are you able to get yours off your own steam or would you like me to get them for you on the card?
And if you still have a valid YP railcard J, an open return will cost £15 instead of £25.

Would it be OK if we could agree on getting the same train to Stansted? I just think it's best for us to arrive together and that way certain people (dom) wont get lost

We need to arrive at Stansted 2 hours before the plane leaves, which means we need to be there for 9:30am
Which one do you think is best?

1. Departs Liverpool st. 8:15
Arrives Stansted 8:59

2. Departs Liverpool st. 8:30
Arrives Stansted 9:17

3. Departs Liverpool st. 8:45
Arrives Stansted 9:31

My prefered one would be the first one, mainly because I don't trust the train arriving on time and will give us a bigger margin if/when the inevitable happens.

Final note, I think we should go for open returns because I just don't like the idea of commiting to a specific train on the way back incase of flight delays.

I'm going to have to think about it because I think the first one is going to be too early for us. Mike needs to check out of the hotel and get to mine before even getting to Liverpool St

 

O.K, if you could let me know when you have decided ASAP, that would be great!

I'm assuming that they leave Liverpool St. every 15 mins, so I think the latest we can leave it is 9:15 from Liv.St. which should arrive at Stansted around 10, which gives us an hour to get sorted (the boarding gate closes at 11:00).

 

I am not sure how long it's going to take Mike's hotel need to be sorted first.

 

I'll leave it another week before I book our tickets then. I'm living one week ahead of everyone else at the moment because I have loads to do before we leave, and this may be the only way I'll manage to get it all done in time
So I'm probably being a bit too cautious

Has Mike booked his Hotel for his UK stay yet?

Argh, I see mike. No probs, we should have plenty of time to get everything sorted so I'll just hold tight for now

 

I'd love to go to JediCon or Celebration 3, and I might consider it but its to early to say, for C3 I mean. Plus I'd need to save up a lot of money (Pretty hard when your a student living on 30 quid a week )

But Hey, A girl can dream can't she!

 

Maybe if there were a few people to group together that way it would cost less.

 

A few things to get through:

1) I got an e-mail from Ryanair over the weekend which said that boarding gates will close 40 minutes before departure now, instead of 30 mins before. Shouldn't be a problem.

2) Would either mike or J have any objections if me and dom book our Stansted express tickets now?
I'd rather do it sooner then later and I'm not sure what your situation is. I'm going to go for the 8:15 departure from Liverpool St. so I'll leave it up to you to decide what one to get when you get the chance. The complcation being that me, dom and J have to check-in together, so if we can't get the same train we'll wait at Stansted before checking-in.

3) Our fanfilm will be shown on Friday 9th April at 7:00pm
It will obviously be the highlight of the show, so can't be missed

 

Thats fine buy the tickets but we aren't buying ours yet there is no rush anyway.
