Classic lines from his SNL appearance:

"Attention swimmer! You are blocking the bubble jets!"

    "I'll see you, in hell!"

I really liked him in The Truman Show and The Majestic, and I think he's making the transition to dramatic roles nicely. I didn't like him at all in Batman Forever or The Cable Guy, but he was great in Dumb & Dumber and the Ace movies.

Dumb and Dumber is the greatest movie of all time. It Just recently becamse my favorite movie. i wastched it a few days ago(on video) and I had already forgotten how funny Dukmb and Dumber was. idon't know why Jim carrey is trying to be all serious all of a sudden, although he is not too bad of a serious actor, the truman shows and Majestics of this world will never live up to the dumb and Dumbers and ace venturas. Personally I think Jim should try to get back to his comic roots. If you have not watched dumb and dumber, go watch it right now, at this very moment. If it has been longer than 6 months sincew the last time you saw it, go rent it now, seriously, you'll have a great time Iguarantee it. i already forgot how funny jim and jeff were in that movie(especially the restaraunt karate scene.)

I thought Me, Myself and Irene sucked. Really lame story, built around gags that were much more miss than hit, IMO. The Farrelly brothers really disappointed me with that one. Dumb and Dumber is hilarious. The first Ace Ventura is still funny. Like another poster said, the second Ace film, When Nature Calls, almost seems like a parody of the Ace character because Ace is completely whacked out in it, and is completely different from Ace in the first film. I never was able to get into The Man on the Moon, and I haven't seen the Majestic yet.

    The Cable Guy: underrated

    The Truman Show: overrated
