I liked Marvels a lot. has been my 24th MCU film I've seen in the cinemas with my fiancee. We started this ritual back in 2015 with Age of Ultron when we were together fresh and we've seen every MCU film in theater since. We also loved Ms. Marvel. I think Iman is awesome. Very likeable, very cute in her role. Perfect match for the Cap Marvel fangirl. The movie could have used a little more run time. I felt like some slow emotional moments were cut short. Could have used a little more time with that. PLUS Kamalla could have had a little more disappoinment time with Ms. Marvel ala TLJ Rey with Luke. But I liked the finished movie alot and I had a very good time. The amount of hate an glee for its failing i receives is miserable. Its just trendy to hate Disney these days with all the Culture war BS. So tiresome.

We do we have to compare and compete SW content against each other all the time? I love the PT just as much as the ST. They both got their fair share of hate from trolls.

 

Are those channels celebrating the fact that the latest Hunger Games movie had a disappointing box office compared to Hunger Games movies with a female lead?

A lot of things are bombing at the box office these days. People just don't seem to be as willing to go to the theaters as they were before they were paying for all these streaming sites.

 

That was my point all allong. The new Hunger Games Movie, which is on my list to watch in theater, has stellar reviews! Its said to be one of the best of the bunch. Yet people dont go to the cinema. They wait for its relese on stream. Corona had a HUGE impact on the cinema going behaviour of people.

The only really big movies this year have been Barbie and Oppenheimer, partly due to their marketing campagin, and Guardians 3. Everything else had a low or medium box office.

who would have promoted him I wonder? Would it have been his boss? No that couldn’t have been it. It was god himself who promoted him

I don’t think this will have any large scale impact. Those who hate Star Wars under Disney will continue to.

I am sure Dave will make great things. But I don’t think it will fix anything in the fandom.

 

That's a smart move. Filoni isn't someone who should be running Lucasfilm but him having a position as a creative planning out future material is what his strength would be. Of course he does need to get over his Ahsoka obsession.

 

There isn’t one project where he wasn’t heavily involved in that Ahsoka hasn’t appeared.

He was involved in resistance and bad batch, both of which for now don’t have Ahsoka. But to say he was heavily involved in the show would be wrong.

I really hope this pushes him beyond that.

Ideally Ahsoka just out and out dies so he can no longer be tempted to use her outside of a force ghost.
