So nice she got to smile at the end, seeing what had been built from one small explosive beginning. She absolutely smashed it with her acting. What a character.

Kleya Lives.

 

Noor Inayat Khan and Violette Szabo were two female SOE agents of WWII, both seem to be some inspiration for Kleya. They were experts in wireless communication, living on their nerves from day to day just as we saw with Kleya.

 

It was interesting in the declassified that the actress said she found Kleya to be quite conflicted

in how she felt about Luthen. He was a father figure and she loved him but it was a love based around a deep, underlying hatred because of what happened in the flashbacks, that he was involved. It is what allowed her to 'pull the plug'.

 

Yes it was definitely a love hate relationship she had with Luthen..the declassified certainly helped clarify the flashbacks... luthens redemption...kleyas revenge

 

Good character, badass female spy!

 

Maybe I'm overreading things, but what if they chose for her a name so similar to Leia's because they actually are two sides of the same coin?
Both are young women fighting for the Rebellion and living a life full of secrets, except one is Bail's trusted daughter, born in luxury and raised by loving parents, while Kleya

was found alone in the dirt by Luthen and grew up by helping him, probably after having witnessed the death of his loved ones.

One of them is celebrated and "popular" among the rebels, the other one is unknown ("Who is Kleya?") or infamous since the Alliance doesn't have the best opinion of Luthen. They both got to play a key role in the fight against the Empire, but one of them is an unsung hero just like many the show celebrates.

I am here to spread the gospel of “Kleya is actually Toryn Farr”

 

Kleya is an utterly fascinating character, and she has been since her first minute on screen. There has to be more to her, and indeed there's much more.

And Leia. Kleya must meet Leia.

 

Anyone else think Elizabeth Dulau has the perfect look to play a daughter of Han and Leia (Jaina Solo)? She looks like them both to me. In another universe she could've.

 

Even if the parallel isn't intentional, that doesn't mean that we can't appreciate it.

I am hoping we see Kleya again in her own show or miniseries. Absolutely love the character, the actress, and even the younger actress who portrayed her was excellent.
