I was wondering what you thought of this ending?

Fireworks lit the sky of the core world. People cheered in front of the Republic senate building.

In a room within the building, Revan, Bastila, Carth and Selena listened to the celebrations outside.

Master Vendar walked into to room ?We Jedi, now have another tale to weave into the history of our Order,? he said.

A Republic General entered the room. ?You?ve been promoted,? he told Carth. ?You get to decide strategies and give orders instead of going on some idealistic crusade.?

?No thank you,? Carth said. ?My job is to vanquish evil.?

?But there?s no one else to fight,? the General said.

?There?s always someone else to fight,? Carth replied, taking his rail gun, with a sly smile.[/i]

?Well Jedi,? he said to Revan and Bastila, ?See you on the other side of the galaxy.?



Carth and Selena left the room and walked into a hangar were the Ebon Hawk was docked. They entered the space vessel. Carth drove off.

Revan smiled as he saw the Hawk flash into deep vast space and turned to Bastila. She was still watching the spot where the Ebon Hawk had been a moment before, when Revan took her hand. She smiled back at him. "You know," he said, "so much has changed since I first saw you." A sadness gripped him as he remembered his descent into darkness. "Thank you for giving me my life back."

Bastila put her fingers to his lips. "The Force does work in mysterious ways," she said as she squeezed his hand. "I think Master Vendar was right, destiny brought us here."

In the distance, more fireworks flew into the sky. Revan placed his arm around Bastila's shoulder as she leaned her head against him and they watched the celebration together, long into the night.
