KOTOR 2: Cheats, Codes, Bug Exploits, Hacks

Ok I'm gonna run you through the steps i took after i made the backup copy, i thought I did it right but something is wrong...

1.) Went to my computer and clicked on the Local Disc "C" Drive

2.)Went to Program Files

3.)Went to LucasArts Folder

4.) Entered SWKotor folder

5.) Went to swkotor configuration settings

6.) Scrolled to the bottom of the GAME OPTIONS. And typed EnableCheats=1 just below the DisableMovies=0

7.) Saved it.

8.) Went into the game and hit the ~ , but no console

Do you have to put a space in between Enable and Cheats? Or am i missing something else?

 

Im a light side master my pres class is jedi weapon master and kreia's alignment is 50 dead middle of the bar. the only reason i think it is a bug is that they went from like true light to true dark from when i left the ship to when i returned to the ship

 

Ok it has to be something i am doing i went back to the old save and started it up and i changed some of the settings with the editor and gave myself some items and two ppl that were true light went true dark one was the hand the other is the guy that calls you general

 

Im going to try to figure out witch of the things im doing is messing it up but i still am having problems changing them back they keep going dark but if it is some item that is doing it that would explane that or if their stats increase that i gave them is doing it that would explane it too ill try and fig it out.

 

I currently have found a bug that has happened more than once. I have restarted the game three times to see if it was a recurring bug. The first time you train with the Handmaiden, everything works fine. But the second time you go to train with her, which is later in the game, we fight forever. No one ever loses health, and I can't advance with the interaction between me and the Handmaiden. I recently found a bug on Nar Shadaa when you gain enough influence with the Exchange and go back to the Ebon Hawk, you get a transmission that Atton tells you about. I had gone through the sequence twice before, tired of dying because of the Sun Twins, so I was going to outfit Atton before the entire thing started, so my save dropped me off at my last point which was about three seconds before the sequence kicked in. I stepped back onto the Ebon Hawk just as the sequence began, changed out characters, then came back out. The old Atton was still standing where he was during the sequence and I had the newer Atton with me, both interactive. And now I'm screwed because my savepoint is fresh and I can't go back before it, and I tried going to another planet and coming back, and it won't fix it. I'm gonna have to start my whole game over again aren't I?

 

I noticed that the cyan blade never goes out too. SO now Kreia is wandering around with her blade out on the Hawk. Strangeness!

 

You need to check the computer terminal that is by the dead jedi and open the door from there.

 

How do you change a characters portriat while being in the game?
Is there a code?

 

I think the bugs in the game are random, i have like 3 savings and none of them have the same problem.. :/
By the way, i had to push ` like 10 times to get the console up :/

There's a thousand bugs on Nar Shadar. I heard a patch is close to being here.

Having enabled the cheat console, how do you disable cheats? I turned on invulnerability for one fight I was having problems with and would now like to turn it off. I cannot figure out how to do this. Any info would be appreciated.

I've encountered a bug in Telos. I took the dark side path(czerka) and eliminated the exchange. I'm supposed to be able to get into the czerka hanger now but i can't. Here's what happens:- I talk to Duros guy. He gives me the lightsaber part. Then i guess the door's supposed to open but a msg comes up in front of the door saying "the door is opened from a nearby terminal". And I SWEAR there is nothing I can do to open the door! If i talk to the Duros guy he says "This is the czerka hanger, if you have no business here then you should leave". And my options are 1)"what goes on here?" and 2)"I'll be on my way". THAT'S ALL. ENDGAME. I CAN'T OPEN THE DOOR! And everytime I reload my save the same thing happens. Is there any no-clipping code? Cez that would really work..

 

Would anyone happen to know (for the giveitem cheat) the code for Thorium Charges? I'm on Dxun now, on my first game of TSL. I used one charge on Korriban, and from what I hear, Dantooine is pretty far off. I'm kind of, well...impatient, really. Help, please?

Hello im a new user to these forums and am hoping for some intelligent input. I have doen everthing for the cheat commands in KOTOR2, and when i look in my inventory to see if i actually got the item, all i see is a Unequipable and Unusable Item. This happens after any code i put in. Can someone give me an example of what exactly i need to type once i hit the "`" button? Thx.

I got this information from Darth333 over at the LucasForums. You need to do what you did in the original game by typing "giveitem", but remember the console is invisible

Yes i understand the "giveitem" command, but what im asking is this, i need an exact example of the pc cheat type. Like say i wanted a certain item, what exactly do i type, cause im not getting the item. Thx.

has anybody mentioned the cheat in Korribon tombs where you open the Jedi body a lot and get lots of experience?

 

You have to get the data pad on the body of Vash, then put her name into the computer, and it will open up the doors.

 

If you really want to get good at fighting bosses, beat the game as a dark consular and use force crush on the bosses. Even if they save it, they still get lifted and pushed back, Sion didnt touch me, and all Kreia could do was drain life. Also being really smart gets you good exp. for opening things.
