I was on the Dark side and I set the thorium charges. They blew up, I entered the room, and the holocron was destroyed. I've beat the game four or five times, and I've never been able to go in without destroying it.

Alright, I will. Do you have any idea what page it is on?

Dunno if this is the right thread to put it, but from what I understand making new threads for this sort of thing is frowned upon...

Is there any way at all to get Sith Lords to run on an ATI Radeon XPress 200M graphics card? I've searched all over, and the general consensus seems to be "laptops suck!". Which is irritating, since TSL ran dandy on my old laptop, and yet barely runs at all on my brand-freakin'-new notebook.

Does anyone here know of any way around this issue? And if not, would the X-Box version run on an emulator program? Just in theory?

I dont know if this is the place to post this, and I'm sure someone has already asked this but...

Does anyone know if somebody (Aspyr or another company) is ever going to port KOTOR 2 to the mac?

and if not, do you know if it would run well on a windows emulator (I have Virtual PC 7-allows you to run windows on the mac)? My buddy runs the PC version of the first Kotor on his mac using VP7 and he doesnt havent a problem, but I didnt know...if you could help I would bake you e-cookies for life. :p

The 200M is about the equivalent speed of a 9600SE or so. Which is very slow. Your old laptop possibly included a dedicated graphics chip like the Mobility Radeon or GeForce GO, which are much faster. I doubt you're going to get much out of it. See here.

So I'm SOL then, eh? That's what I figured. It's real frusterating, since this laptop's top-of-the-line otherwise-- it's even got 2 gb ram, for pete's sake. And I've never had a problem playing any other game on it.

I just want to play it once, too-- I'm no gamer, I just want the storyline and continuity notes. :(

So... anyone care to hazard a guess how an X-Box emulator would do running the X-box version?

Depends....it requires pretty powerful equipment to even emulate a Playstation. But with the closer architecture of the XBox to a PC you might be better off. Emulators tend to be more reliant on CPU too IIRC.

Huh... well, just did some searching and apparently XBox emulators don't exist...

Well, that sucks. I was hoping to find one and rent those SW games that don't exist in PC format... all I want is the continuity info, and I ain't buying a gaming system just for that.

    Thanks for the input, though.

I don't what happens with you. It worked for me but all it was, was a recording of Batilla saying she's trying to look for Revan or something.

i think it might have something to do with the answers to Atton's questions about revan being male/female, ls/ds (on Peragus). it might have to be male/ds to get it to work, its been a while since i played it darkside, so don't take my word for it. hope that helps.

That's all that happens. It doesn't matter if you are darkside or not (I think) - you had to have told Atton that Revan was Male and Darkside. Then, once you blow open the door, you turn on the holocron and Bastila talks about Revan leaving and that the Sith order is falling apart. She also says that she wishes he'd come back.

I think it's better if you get the message from R2 rather than the holocron!

And does mandalore ever have anything to like say or do afterwards or is he just a pretty pointless addition?

You talking about the thing in the missile room? I'm pretty sure the console is in that same room.

Well, yes, the console is in the same room as the missile. You just use the console and do the actions it tells you, and then it is available. Get it and put it in the 4th spot. Then go back to the entrance and leave to finish that mission. (BTW, his name is Darth Nihilus) :)

Yes, Mandalore is pretty much useless because all he does is give you stimulants and useless talk. To gain influence with G0-T0 & HK-47, you (first off) have to be darkside. If you're not, and do not wanna gain darkside points, then you won't get influence. They give you some recordings (HK) and EXP for talking to them and getting enough info. But HK & G0-T0 both give you useless information about the droid factory (Telos) and the droid planet (M4-78) because both those sections of the game were cut out :(

You can also get the influence guides at GAMEFAQS

Will I get some special items or my ex lightsaber if I kill Atris on Telos instead of sparring her life?

Annoyingly enough, no matter how much influence I get, I can't get Handmaiden to talk to me about Atris or T3 to play the recording of Carth/Bastila. Is this a bug or something?

You need the maximum influence with T3 to get the recording, I think. I think you have to fix his stuff (with Computer/Repair) which gives u more experience and the final time your fixing him he'll give you the recording.

And I don't think that Handmaiden ever talks about Atris- at first she says she doesnt trust you enough or whatever, and then when you train her as a Jedi, she says she hates Atris and doesnt wanna talk about her. So yeah..

Would that be after I get Moving Meditation, because I never see any repair/computer options after that point.

I think that the Moving Meditation is about as far as you can go.

You need to ask him, "How did you get here, T3?"

And he keeps avoiding the question and you say "yeah but how did you get here?," eventually you can say that you want to check his memory to see if there's a problem in there that keeps him from answering you. Remember to be nice (I don't know if he'll let you work on him if you say you'll pry it out of his memory no matter what, heh).

Then you should get the recording. I guess Carth if Revan is female, Bastila if Revan was male, but I don't know if it's different or nonexistent if Revan was Darkside. But definitely should be a recording if she was Lightside.

Yeah that sucks ... my own lightsaber is awesome, but I *really* would have liked to see what kind of old lightsaber I used to have, other than the blade and color. Like if I had special crystals or whatnot.

Another example that seems to uphold Luke. All of these isolated pockets- all waitng for someone to (re)join them together.

Well, your new lightsaber is surelly better since you have your own crystal there :p , but I really like to get some items from Atris. Too bad, players can't chech out those Sith Holocrons.
