Is there a KOTOR 3 in the making yet?

Last I heard it had been put on hold

 

Heres a hint for anyone about to play KOTOR 2.

When the handmaiden has joined your party and you get aboard the Ebon Hawk, you can walk round the ship and talk to each of your comrades in order to gain light/darkside points or influence points.

Talk to the handmaiden and ask her to show your some of her unarmed combat moves.
You have a sparring match in whichjust before you start to fight, she strips to her bra and panties and stays like that for the rest of the game.

Here's a question about some seemingly inaccessible areas in the Nar Shaada docks (and perhaps this has already been addressed here and I just missed the thread.)

(I'm playing KOTOR II on XBox, by the way.)

The main question I have is about the area on the very left side of the dock area map. There's the flophouse, of course, where you find small rooms with numerous NPCs who have various missions for you.

But just above that area on the map is a hallway which looks like it SHOULD be accessible via two doors out in the main dock area. I guess the best way to describe it is that the dock area sort of makes an E shape, with the walkways to the three pylons being the three horizontal lines of the E (the Jek Jek Tar methane bar and Vogga the Hutt's lair are along the very top of these three lines) and the walkway with the flophouse door and the two mystery doors being the vertical line of the E.

The map shows a hallway running parallel and to the left of this vertical portion of the E shape, with two doors (both along the vertical part of the E, between the flophouse door and the door to Vogga's lair) apparently being the way into this area.

Problem is, neither of these two mystery doors seems to be anything other than doors painted on a solid wall. Neither door registers as a door in terms of options when I walk up to either of them (even a magnetically-sealed door gives me a message about it being magnetically sealed... these doors don't even do that.)

Has anyone figured out if there's any way of accessing this area?

Secondly, speaking of magnetically-sealed doors, I've found one in the very last room in the flophouse (also in the dock area), and have no idea how or where to open it up. It's the room at the very end of the row of flophouse rooms, past the Ithorian with the stranded ship and the guy looking for his wife. That very last room is empty, with a magnetically-sealed door in the rear wall. Has anyone figured out how to go about opening this door?

I'm wondering if these are just two areas which were intended to be used for some mission or another, but were just sealed off and forgotten about when it became obvious that KOTOR II was going to be rushed to market rather than being given the extra time needed to finish everything that was originally intended to be in the game.

 

The first corridor isn't accessable, at least not in the "normal" game

You will get in the room with the sealed door soon enough, it's part of the story.

 

Any hints on defeating Treya?

I can only ever seem to get about an eighth of her health off, but I haven't exactly tried many times.

 

In my most recent game, I killed Kodin the droid merchant on Nar Shaddaa before I bought the HK droid processor from him. Is there another place to get the HK droid processor?

I've said it before and I'll say it again...

The KOTOR II Guidebook is AMAZING. It has an overview of what needs to be done on the planet and then walkthroughs...also, as a bonus, you get a FREE POSTER of Atris vs. Nihilus. It's fantastic!

 

the Prima one? yeah i have that. it's pretty good, but at this point, all i really use it for is the maps.

 

I've been playing this game again. I forgot how terrible the vibroblades, etc
are in this game. My Jedi is at level 18, and he STILL gets wiped out when he goes up
against several mercenaries! Meanwhile, T3 goes by unscathed. Does this make any sense?

It also takes too long to get a lightsaber in this one.

And how about in the "abby-normal" game?

Oh, and I got to the story point about that sealed door not long after I posted yesterday. I played through the light-side version of the game when it first came out... I'm embarrassed that I hadn't remembered that bit. OY!

One of the tricks I used was not leveling up before I got to her, so that I could level up at any time I wanted. When I got really low on health, I paused the game and used that level-up, which gave me a complete heal. Besides that, I just used a lot of Master Furry Attacks, Force Heals, and Force Enlightenment.

I heard somewhere that you can run down one of the rock bridge things, and take time to heal, and that Traya won't follow you. I don't remember the exact details, and have never tired it myself, but it might work.

I just used the Force Wave on the lightsabers, and then walked up and nailed Kreia.

 

Heylo..new here and new to the KOTOR series...ok i've been playing KOTOR 2 and right now im stuck on the Ebon Hawk in that part right after you leave Telos and the handmaiden boards your ship. What do I do from there?(she hasn't joined my party yet)

2nd question...When and How do I get my lightsaber?!?!? I already have that part forget which one from Chodo and a green crystal. What else is there and where do i get them?

 

Are you stuck somewhere after Telos? You should just continue on, I believe.

As for the lightsaber, it should say in your journal what parts you need. As soon as you get them, go to Bao-Dur and he'll put it together for you.

 

I had one after I left Telos. When I talk to Bao-Dur about making one.

 

One time I got a lightsaber from Mandalore after defeating all the Mandalorians
in the battle circle.

 

I cannot beat Traya! I get past her first part but the second half of the battle I get tor up!

Any advice?

 

you find the vocabulator for GK 47 on the peragus mining facility when you kill the KH 50 unit that tries to kill you, search its remains and voila there it is one HK vocabulator unit

 

JEDI-SOLO-
If you are a Sith just force crush her
If you are a Jedi you can plant all your mines on the bridge and make her chase you ala Malak
use lightsaber throw if you have to eventually it will wear down her life. When her sabers chase you ignore her and use hit and run tactics against the sabers(force storm etc.)once you destroy them you've won

 

If you have Force Wave that works VERY well on the sabers. But if your Darkside just use Force Crush.


And I'm playing through my second time. Lightside female Jedi Sentenial/Jedi Weapon Master. I'm level 15 Sential and 11 JWM. I just beat Atris with ONE hit of my Master Power Attack. I was like um okay. Then Nihilus went down with TWO Master Power Attacks. I sure hope Sion isn't this easy.

 

where are the parts that i need? and how come in some shots i have seen. the characters have lightsabers in areas that i have already passed?

I'm playing through again, too. This has been my best KOTOR II character. I'm at level 21 Guardian Watchman Level 2. I breezed through the Sith Academy, and just wailed on Darth Sion.

My Mira was also great. She was at level 19, and wasted Hanharr. I didn't have the guts
to kill off Hanharr, though. I let him live.
