KOTOR: Cheats, Codes, Bug Exploits, Hacks

I have come across a problem with the game and there does not seem to be any way out. On tatooine I dressed in the sandpeople clothes and entered the sandpeople area and went on to the enclave. Realising I required the interpreter droid I exited out of the enclave, and back out of the sand people area. On exiting I killed all of the sandpeople gaurds. Now when I approach the enclave I get shot by the turrets regardless of whether or not I am disgused. When I attempt to go into the enclave my whole party is killed insantly before reaching the door. I have also noticed that the sandpeople I find out in the desert area are all elite warriors and the dragon thingo's are extremely tough to kill.

I really need to get back into the enclave to get the map but there doesn't seem to be any way to do this. I have been playing the game for over 15 hours and would hate to lose all my progress.

Can anyone help me with this?

 

It sounds like you need to now take out the turrets. Either that, of you need to use the 'solo' mode, go alone and try to use your Stealth skill if you have it.

If you choose to take out the turrets, Ion weapons will do.

 

I have beaten the game numerous times on xbox, and i am bored!! I am looking for cheats to make the game more fun. If anyone knows any cheats that will give me unlimited, or atleast more than usual combinations of skills/feats. I want to be able to have a character that has all or a lot of powers and what not. Stopping at level 20 is just not doing it for me anymore. Also i am lazy so dont really feel like figuring out for my self which combination of classes allows a character to have the most skills/feats. If anyone can help, let me know, PLEASE!!!

PC or Xbox? Don't you save multiple times per world? I have a saved game in reserve each time landing on a world---you never know when it might inadvertantly crash to desktop because your comp wants to advise you of something.

Two of your companions wear Tusken garb, with Hunter-Killer 47 in tow. If they're attacking up front, they'll never stop. Complete their request---obtaining the water vaporator and slaying the krayt---then decide if you want to provoke. You'll have to start Tatooine over from an earlier saved file if you can.

so, now I'm being put on trial for infiltrating the Sith base on Manaan. Any suggestions?

I also can't get into the training annex. The door is locked.

I've killed of everyone but who ever is in the locked room.

I also checked out a walkthrough and it said that a corpse should have given me a datapad with crucial evidence against the Sith that would drop the charges on me.

I picked up no such datapad.

 

The datapad is in the base, a broken droid in one of the rooms has it.

Also change party members, use either Mission and the droid TC-30 (what ever its name is) they have the hack skillz and/or computer spikes.

BTW, how did you enter the base?

I went in through the "back door" with Mission and the droid.

If you take a right out of the hanger and go down the hallway all the way to the last hanger door you can do it.

First, you have to power-up before you enter the door and kill the bad dudes. Then collect any goodies that may be on the floor. Then "Save" get back to the game and board the transport. Have Mission go first to deactivate the frag mine that is on the otherside of the door. The rest is up to you.

 

Help. I've gotten through the game, the star forge has gone down in flames, and the admiral tells Carth where going to have a celebration. Then my screen goes blank and nothing else happens. I'm in total darkness. I hit my directional key pad to the right and click start. I get to the Map tab in the options screen and it tells me I'm on some Untitled level, but won't tell me where. I click start again, and i'm back in darkness.

Help if you can.

 

Dunno, it can't happen on X-BOX, maybe a scrached disk???

 

this may seem strange , but I played the x-box version and on that unnamed world before the star forge I travled back to the ebon hawk after visiting a local tribe of people . when I entered all my party members were in a big circle by the circle projector . I walked to the cockpit and a droid was there . it asked me what planet I wanted to go to and a choose the unnamed one ( the one I was on ) . it took my progress back to before i reached the planet , and it was like i never visited it . is this a bug or something , it confused me ?

I had this happen to me so I did some research about it on the official forums. Apparently it's a bug that strikes when you send a person in stealth mode back to the ebonhawk. This happened to me during the escape from the sith command ship using mission. It caused the black screen for the rest of the game but seemed to happen most during the celebration. According to the forum there is some perception check and if your main can't "see" your stealthed character then the black screen appears, I had to reload the game a bunch of times before I was able to make the check(how this really works I don't know, but reloading over and over eventually worked). The other option is to load an earlier save and take out whichever character was stealthed from the ebonhawk and unstealth them.

No I have not used the printscreen key but only because I thought it was more complicated than that

Others were talking about how they had to go into program files and enablescreenshot or something to that effect...do I still need to do this or can I just hit print screen and copy and paste to photoshop?

You got a glitch called the Galaxy Droid Glitch. It was occured somehow by conversations and that it lets you go anywhere, even areas not occured by the game and that it is not delete "ible". The droid will send you a place that you want to go and if you go to a place not in KotOR, your game will crash. I hope that will help you.

You can lie your way out of the charges, but you have to dismiss your arbiter, he incriminates you.

To get through the main door, you have to get the codes by decoding the data disks the Republic has at their base, tell the person outside you have the codes and she lets you in, once you are inside the lady at the desk calls security.

 

Ok... how do you get like God, give all etc cheats, i cant find em!

What version are you playing KotOR? X-BOX or PC?

 

I'm playing PC, i have plenty of hints and tips, but no hard core cheats to give u like god mode and etc

 

You have to change the line EnableScreenshot=0 to EnableScreenshot=1 and GUIsInScreenShot=1 to GUIsInScreenShot=0 ( to take only the screen without the GUI ( without health bar etc ))

 

Here are some:

adddarkside/lightside #- Add Dark or Light Side points
