During the Sandral-Matale feud on Dantooine, there is a scene after you rescue Rahasia and Shen, where the fathers arrive in front of the house. The dialogue is somewhere along the lines of Rocky Horror Picture Show...did anybody else get a chuckle out of that?

Yeah that part was funny.I thought the same thing about Rocky Horror, I wanted to yell out "Janet!"
I kept turning my head left and right because I have two large speakers on either side of my living room hooked to my TV and the sound went around too....LOL

DO you think they'll port it to PS2 or GC, or is it an XBox console exclusive?

It would be nice if it could be done on GC, for those that don't get teh X-box or PC version. Maybe they can fix the only problem (IMO) the game has...frame rate.

Here's a question, spurred by this game and the period 4,000 years before the movies...

I recall an ESB trading card (I think) that once identified Darth Vader as the 13th Lord of the Sith. I wonder if that info has since become "incompatible" to the current state of the Star Wars Universe.

If not, how many of the 13 do we know of now? Malak, Revan, Exar Kun, Freedon Nadd, Darth Sidious,

(Also, since Vader was a Lord of the Sith, does this mean that the master and the apprentice can both have this title?)

..that would add, of course, Darth Vader, Darth Maul, and a few others from the comics I can't remember...

    KOTOR rocks!

It's safe to say that there's been more than 13 Dark Lords throughout the very long history of the Republic. In fact, Exar Kun and Ulic-Qel Droma and Malak and Revan notwithstanding, if Darth Bane began the Rule of Two, perpetuated for a millenia or so, there must have been more than two dozen (or perhaps even more) Dark Lords perpetuating the Sith tradition 'til its culmination with Sidious and Vader.

I vaguely remember there being a Tales of the Jedi comic book cover with thirteen lightsabers or something to refer to the Dark Lords. I think that whole think has become retconned.

    Great reading your responses...

I get the feeling the EU may have surpassed its claim of 13 Lords as well. Although I wonder if, for example, Ulic was a dark Jedi, but not a Sith Lord, and if other apprentices/dark Jedi had not been actual lords as well. Is that literally what the title "Darth" means? Maybe 13 is still possible, but I'm not at all sure. There were thousand year gaps in between the emergence of the Sith throughout the SW timeline, which would also leave the possibility of only 13. I'll look into it a little further.

I hope Episode III gets into this stuff fairly deeply---it would certainly add resonance to all the other films as well.

I've beat the game twice now. Once good, once bad. I had Zaalibar kill Mission. I didn't think the furball had it in him but he did it. I love how it gave you the opportunity to just be the hugest arse the galaxy has ever seen.

Yeah, I'm playing the dark path and my gal is turning out to be the most sadistic, evil b!+@# on wheels the galaxy will ever see. I do wish she'd get to kill that whiny little piece of bantha poodoo Carth. If she can't...his kid will do. [face_devil] Nyah-ha-ha-ha-hah

I just wish that Lucas will take the unbelievable work the people at BioWare did on this game into consideration and actually make Episode 3 a good game, but since he did take the cue with Dark Forces2: Jedi Knight and decided instead to go digital instead of real actors, I guess he probably will not do so with this game.

I have enjoyed KOTOR so much, it is unbelievably. I am a huge fan of the TOTJ saga, so seeing this done was very satisfying to me. It really lived up to how I imagined the Jedi and REpublic and Sith to be, not the way they were done in the Prequel trilogy.

With any luck, a prequel of this game can be done, where the series now becomes a TOTJ saga, where you got Ulic and Cay Qel-Droma and such. I would have also liked to have seen either a really old Nomi Sunrider or a old Vima Sunrider, but oh well...can't have anything.

    Best Star Wars game EVER!!!

One of the best RPGs (and games) I have ever played! Not since Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty has a storyline and set of characters emotionally touched me.

One thing tho, (WARNING! SPOILER AHEAD!)Did anyone else find the light side ending a little dissapointing? I was hoping for something a little more in-depth concerning the main characters. Instead, it ended much like one of the movies, with a big medal/celebration ceremony. Ah well, still a great game.

Going through light-side again, cept this time female. I want to catch some of the sub-quests and mini-games that I missed the first time. Also want to pick on Carth more, since he is such fun to pick on ;P

Carth got away from my Dark Sider...but I did kill Mission and Big Z.(I was so upset about that too :( ) But hey..I get a hot little Dark Side Bastila plus kick-butt Canderous and two droids. :D

It actually fuinny, my fiance and I noticed recently that our two characters are "brother and sister".. We both have the same last name. (Khaar) We didn't even do that intentionally..lol. She's on the Light Side though.
It is such an addicting game. I'm dying to go home and play more!

Man, i beat the game about 3 weeks ago, and just today started a new character. This time through im gonna be doing a dark jedi. And at every decision to do something bad, it always feels so wrong... Before the game came out, one of the devs was mentioning that it was harder to stay on the light side rather than fall to temptation. Man, was he ever wrong. I dunno. Maybe its just me, but its definetely a bit harder to stay bad and keep doing bad things.

I was meaning to ask this awhile ago, but forgot. I was talking to Mr. Ordo in the ship, and i never bring him along outside, since hes evil and ive been playing the good guy, and i was talking with him to catch up what he was like and all. He tells me about (SPOILER) an asteroid that seemingly shot up and jetted away on its own propulsion. I never finished talking to him, but i dont know if id have gotten any more of that story out of him. I read the NJO and have just finished Dark Journey, about 7 or 8 books down the line of the NJO. Anyone else think that it was a Yuuzhan Vong Corralskpper or freiter, hmm? From the books, i was thinking that they hadnt even came to the edge of the galaxy until the fall of the Republic, 4000 years later. Just wondering if anyone else caught that...

Yeah I caught that and someone else brought it up here earlier too. It was a cool little reference to the YV. He didn't mention anything else too me about that and I took him out all the time all the way to the ending. He talks more about the wars and stuff plus you find out he has alot of respect for you either way you go.

I wouldn't call Canderous "evil". He's a former Mandalorian and he is what he is, almost like HK. I'm playing Darksider and he's the third member of my party along with Bastila. His toughness, the armor I gave him plus his "healing factor" make him a worthy addition to a party even if he's no Jedi.

Now, the reason I'm using Canderous is because I had to kill Jolee and Juhani...and later on Mission and Zaalbar after Carth ran away like a little !#$! before I put the smackdown on his whiny candy-ass :p. So I'm left with with just evil Bastila for Jedi support. Now I read somewhere that you could kill Jolee but convince Juhani to join your side. And that if you were evil enough you could Force persuade Zaalbar into killing Mission if only to keep the walking carpet. But no matter what I've always ended up killing all of them. Would that scenario only happen if I have a strong persuasion/alter mind skills/powers/whatnot?

On the Star Forge, it's always convenient to have 3 Jedi on your party. Pause frequently, have each member of your party prioritize targets. Use Force Wave (and if you didn't pick this power early on in the game, well, that is teh suck) occasionally to stun most targets and then finish them off with flurries or critical strikes. But use Force sparringly, since more often than not your party's Jedi's will run out of Force points before all the enemies in those seemingly endless waves are done. It's better if you pause constantly to supervise their Force use, so they don't waste it on futile attacks best resolved by melee fighting. Sometimes having a soldier like Carth, Canderous or even HK could prove handy, since they're range fighters than can focus on the normal soldiers or toss those grenades in your inventory that your Jedi shouldn't or can't use in close quarters combat.

And heal. Pause and heal members of your party (preferrably with Life support kits or Adv. Medpacks) when you can or are otherwise not surrounded by enemies. Having them loaded up on stims and their best armor and energy/melee shields is always a good idea whenever you advance to a new area. And yes, save the game once you're through with a wave of enemies. Always a smart move if your party doesn't survive the next wave.

I have no idea if this has been brought up yet, but in the trailer on Lucasart's site, there is a creature who looks like Yoda.
Isn't this game 4,000 years before the trilogy? And isn't Yoda only centuries old? Is this another of Yoda and Yaddle's species?
I haven't played the game, and I'm not likely to for a while so any help would be great...
