KOTOR: Hints, Tips, Strategies, Walkthroughs (no cheats allowed)

The swoop-record on Tatooine is pretty hard to beat. You can beat the first two quite easily, but the last one took me quite a few tries.

Yeah. First two were ok, but I never beated the third track.

I used to find swoops quite difficult too, but now... Well, I've won every single one. Earned heaps of money and bought cool crystals for my lightsabers. A shame in KOTOR2 you can't have this turquoise colour...

I actualy earned money by selling the crystals I got from the various Sith I killed on the road. One can get much more money if selling them to that Rodian in Yavin base.

 

Well, I meant the Heart of the Guardian and the Mantle of the Force...

The turquoise one was great... I'd like to have a lightsaber like that.

 

I went through Korriban today. This was alot of fun and I really got a kick out of mowing through the Sith inside the Academy after leaving the tomb of Naga Sadow. It was awesome.

Korriban pwns. Party which consists HK-47 and Canderous on Korriban is an extreme fun.

 

Swoop racing is easy on PC. On XBox it's hard though.

 

A quick question: The Tomb Of Marko Ragnos, is there something in his casket worth getting? I had HK-47 with a good security skill and he couldn't open it, and neither could Revan. I didn't bother going back, I went to tatooine to give Motto the Hutt that mind trap box.

 

In tomb of Marka Ragnos you get Marka's gloves. They give you extra skill and power when wielding melee weapons.

I opened it with no trouble. Maybe is some sort of a glitch...

 

Hey guys.If you didn't already know this it will be news to you if not then anyhok,everyone knows about the Jedi robes or Sith robes that are on the StarForge.It seems to me there is a male version and a female version of the robes.For example as a male revan I took Juhani,and Jolee Bindo with me.My Revan PC was the one who activated the three computers to make the robes,well when I got them out Jolee and I could wear them but Juhani couldn't.It seems you would have to switch to her to activate one of the computers so she could wear one.I also tried this as a female Revan and Jolee was the one who couldn't wear one.So I guess the Jedi who is the opposite gender of your Pc has to activate one of the computers themselves.

 

Really? I don't see why. Usually in the game it doesn't matter if robes are male or female. For example; I put the Quel-Droma robes on both Jolee and Bastila...

 

I am refering specifically to the StarForge robes.

 

are you talking about revans robes? they may be restricted to dark side characters if i'm not mistaken.

 

Ok let me elaborate.On (if I'm not mistaken) Deck 3 of the StarForge take a left and eventually you'll end up in a computer room with three consoles where you can get three very crapy armors,however you can also get three very snazy Jedi or Sith robes depending on your alignment.Now the key point is the person who orders a computer to make a robe, the robe will be custom-made for that person.For example lets say my Revan is a man and is a Jedi,and as Revan I activate all three computers I would then have three Jedi robes that can only be worn by male Jedi.So what should I have done instead?Switch to Juhani or Bastilla i.e darkside and use one of them to activate a computer.Here is a screenshot of the female version of the Jedi robe,oh yeah don't let the picture fool you this is a KotorII screenshot but it was before they decided to have no KotorI robes in KotorII enjoy http://www.starwarsknights.com/view.php?screen=screenshots/tslshot055.jpg

 

I never tried to get more than one robe, which I used for my character, but I think it's possible that wearing one of them depends on gender. It sure does depend on alignment. I certainly remember Jolee not being able to wear them, because he is neutral and you either need to be dark or light to use them.

By the way, they never planned to use the KOTOR-robes in KOTOR II...

 

I just made a robe using Jolee to activate the computer (light side female Revan for Star Forge robes) and he couldn't use it, so that makes no difference. The robes you get depend on your character, not the NPC you use to activate.

Were you light side one time and dark side another? Juhani can't use the Revan robes because she's light side, Jolee can't use the Star Forge robes because he's not light side.

Edit: Also, I'm 99% sure there are no gender restrictions on items, since there is only one item code for every armour in the game. If there were gender restrictions there would have to be male and female versions, and there isn't.

 

Oh yeah,you also can't bring Juhani with you if you choose to be Darth Revan.You have to kill her on Rakata Prime. Along with Jolee.

 

I have 1 question, what do i need to do in tomb of Ajunta Pall? There is Therangen obelisk on the way, how do i get pass that? And what is in the tomb?

 

is there anyway to get anymore spikes to shut off the jedi attack droids?
i got to the part in the Star Forge where Malik sends the Droids to attack you
i got to the control panels to shut them off,but going in i only have a few spikes.
now as i go on there are containers that or empty at first but later on as your fighting
the droids they glow green and then you find a spike in them.
do i have to wait and just avoid the droids till i get the Spikes i need or do i have
to go back to somewhere in the Star Forge to find more Spikes?

 

all right, here is what i need help with, I on the leviathon and am on the bridge, i have to get the doors open using the computer, and there are about 7 dark jedi after me,carth and bastila, and although i have numerous saves it is really difficult to win this battle, can anyone help me out here, any suggestions? I am trying different things, not quite working yet. thanks

 

When you get the blue cirlce on the obelisk you click on it and are able to go through your menu and push the X button to give the obeleisk a plasma grenade to blow it up. When you do this there are droids on the other bridge that start opening fire. They are fairly easy to take out but it is a pretty good fire fight.

 

I don't remember any specific trick for that fight - but it definately took me a number of tries too. Keep trying different strategies. Double check if you can equip your characters with anything better (armor, gloves, etc). Try using bombs too - they can give you an edge at the start of a battle - go with the strongest you've got.

 

OK, I just checked...used a female Revan to spawn 3 Star Forge robes. Juhani wears them, Revan wears them, Jolee wears them if you give him a couple of light side points.

No gender restrictions.

Throw plasam granades at Admiral and those around him. Use 2 members of your party to deal with the soldiers and the Dark Jedi around the room, and you go straight for Karath. Oh, and remember to use shields.
