Admit it, watching the shark go for a kolto snack and getting a mouthful of toxin instead was pretty hilarious.

I hate to say it but you are right, it did tickle me to see the shark go belly up.

I am playing the game trying to be as Unholy a Sith as ever has lived, doing everything and anything to get Dark Side Points and I think I might have made a breakthru in the quest to 'upgrade' your Swoop Bike.

I took the Hidden Bek mission to get the Swoop Accelerator from the Black Vulkar base. I made it to where the Swoop Accelerator was being stored. I made the deal with the Black Vulkars to go back and kill the Hidden Bek Leader and thier gang. I went back to the Black Vulkar base, where i was sponsored by the Black Vulkars in the Swoop Opening. After winning the race and winning Bastilla, I went back to the Black Vulkar base. I went to where the Swoop Acellerator was at, and killed the remaining Black Vulkars there, and took the Swoop Accelerator for myself

I still have the Swoop Accelerator in my inventory, so I assume when I leave Taris, I will get to add it to my Swoop Bike onboard the Ebon Hawk.

Let us know how it works out. I spent hours of frustration trying to pass the thrid round for the swoop races on Tantooine and Maanan.

But, TB, wow. You were the last person I would've imagined playing as unholy as can be.

    :p

Admit it, the darkside is fun!

Well, right now, I have not gone back to the Ebon Hawk, as I am busy doing the Dantoonine Missions first. Once I get those done and back into the Ebon Hawk, I will know if the Swoop Accelerator was added to the Swoop Bike there.

But, TB, wow. You were the last person I would've imagined playing as unholy as can be.

I am on my third run thru the game, both time previous I have done everything in my power to be a Good Jedi, so I got to mix things up here.

Admit it, the darkside is fun!

Not really, I felt like crap when I betrayed Gandon and wiped out the Hidden Bek's.

    heh

The only time I really felt like a low piece of crap in the game was when...

    SPOILERS

I killed Jolee Bindu and had my wookie kill Mission and made Carth run away, which in turn I went back to the "builders" base and slaughtered them, not before rubbing it in their faces how I betrayed them.

I already had the idea about the swoop accelerator there is no way to install it on the other worlds. Primarily because it will only survive five rounds.

YEah, I am on Tatoonine now, and so far, I have not seen anything that can be done to 'install it' and it does not appear on my inventory list. I am going to see if I can reload my campaign back on Taris and see if I can sell it now, since I don't seem to be able to use it.

I hate to admit it but I'm still stuck on the Levethians bridge and am having the worst of luck on it. I'm honestly considering just starting the whole game over, even though I really don't want to do that, because I want to at least beat the whole game first before I go through another round, but it's starting to look like I don't have much of a choice. Any ideas would be very appreciated.

Have you tried lowering the difficultly level to easy? I sometimes do that to get through some of the more annoying parts.

The ultimate weapon on the Jedi arsenal -- particularly when facing numerous foes like on the Leviathan bridge -- is Force Wave. If your pc and Bastila possess it, try queing up two successive waves for each of them -- particularly aimed at Karath and the two Dark Jedi flanking him. The waves should devastate most of the lesser foes and seriously stun Karath and the Dark Jedi. At that point in the game Carth should be a mighty soldier and you should focus his attacks on the normal troops. Pause the game often to assign new priority targets and queue up attacks as you see fit.

Now, if you don't have Wave, odds are your SOL. Focus your party on the toughest foes first 'til they're down, then deal with the grunts as you see fit.

I never thought to go back and kill the Vulkers on my dark journey. Spoiler

Then again nearly everyone dies on Taris anyways. I was kind of pissed when that happened in my first run being good because I felt that the Promised Land quest was all for nothing. Though they could've survived.

Here's Tip for those that want an easy way to become a total Dark Lord without all the work..... On the stowaway quest tell the girl to get off your ship and then talk to her again before she disapears. You can kick her off again for another DarkSide point!!! Keep doing this over and over. If she gets close to the exit tell to stay and she'll walk back into the room away from the exit. Just repeat the process and you'll be an evil prick in no time. Best of all you can still do the mission and make a few credits to boot. This is a cool trick if you are going lightside with another portrait and just want to see what you look like as Evil. Make sure you save before this though.

I have been playing this current run thru as a Scout/Jedi Sentinel, while at the same time, being as unholy a Sith as there ever has been. I am on Tatoonine and apparently there was no way to utilize the Swoop Acellerator as mentioned above but.......when I bought HK-47....well, obviously, as a Scout, I put some points into REPAIR and among other things, was able to activate some of HK-47's hidden programs. I will let the details for you all to find, all I ask is that you have Canderous in your group for one of the later exchanges for h is reaction to what HK-47 says. Also, among other things....

I was able to get about a +6 bonus to HK-47's dexterity, and I was able to reactive a regeneration program that allows him to regenerate just like Canderous does.

    hope this helps.

Yeah when I did that combo I was able to unlock all his programming. My first runthrough when I changed to Jedi gurdian I ended up wasting some skill points to try and unlock his memory. So unless you use him a lot it's worthless. It's best to do this if you use the above metioned combo class. The story is pretty funny though.

Here's what you get with each repair:

    1st +2 dexterity
    2nd +2 defence
3rd regenerates 1 point per round
4th regenerates 2 points per round and an addition +2 to dexterity

If you don't have force wave on the leviathon bridge make use of your energy shields and grenades. But Hopefully by that time you have some offensive Force powers use them.

I think the group that went to the Promised land survived since they were underground.

Man, i,m playing the game from the beginning for the second time to try and do all the stuff I missed the first time through.
For example, I'm stuck in the dueling ring death match with bendak starkiller and he is whooping my ass repeatedly. After like two hits I'm toast. Is there a trick to beating him? Also, can you get his armour if you kill him?

I had problems beating him my fisrt time I just waited till I leveled up. The best way to beat him is use which ever weapon you are stongest with, meele is a better choice. Also throw grenades at him when you can. When he throws one at you run out of the way to avoid damage. Might be best to wait till you find some plasma grenades. As you start the duel your first action should be to throw a plasma grenade. You should still have time to get out of the range of his grenade. Keep loping frags and a stun type grenade, making sure to run away from his attacks, then go after him with a strong meelee attack. Keep fighting up close avoiding his power attack. When you need to heal run away from him and heal then start the process over again, grenades, meelee, heal.

Spoiler for those who have not played thru the game to follow.

Ok, I betrayed Jolee and Juhani and killed them with Bastila when I turned to the dark side. ANd then, when I returned to the Ebon Hawk, I had the confrontation where Carth runs off like a you-know-what. Mission tries to plead with me to turn to the good again. WHile I had the optio of Force Persuading Zaalabar to kill mission for me, I decided to use the non-persuade option, which causes Big Z to explode in rage against you, severing the Life Debt because he won't kill Mission for me, prompting myself, Bastila, HK-47 and Canderous to kill both of them.

So, right now I really feel like a total piece of human excrement right now!!!!!

At the very least, I could have had the courage to kill Mission myself, but rather then to use to Force to make Big Z take out Mission....man, that was just wrong!!

Is there a way to turn Juhani to your side if you choose the dark side? It seems you have to kill her and Jolee every time; no dialogue with her opens up for you to try to persuade her. The IGN walkthrough says it's possible, although the official strategy guide doesn't hint to any such possibility.

Regarding the Qel Droma mesh armor

I heard a rumor that you have to open the 'duel' between Canderous and his former trooper, via the conversation option, that you go to Tatoonine with just yourself and Candreous into the Dune Sea for their contest of Honor, and from there, this grudge is settled, and the Qel-Droma armor is found. I also heard that you have to open up this 'option' before you go to Tattonine for it's star map, meaning you probably have to pass two worlds before this is available.
