Reaper- so you go to Manaan, then Kashyyk, then back to Manaan? Or should I wait to go to Manaan until after Kashyyk? I'm replaying the game, trying to do every subplot available. I did get the datapad at Tatooine telling me to go to Manaan and did that, but I decided against joining the Gehehardons or whatever they were called, because the first time I was playing for realism, and I thought honestly, my character would want to stop Malak before gallavanting around shooting people. But this time I am going to join them, for sure. :)

[face_happy]
[/blockquote]For my Light Side Jedi, the sequence I followed was from Taris to Dantooine to Tatooine to Kashyyyk to Manaan and on to Korriban. From this point, I headed to the Rakatan homeworld (the ship-repair and temple disruptor storyline), and thence onward to the Star Forge itself.

Myself, I didn't really manage to get any of the quests for the Genoharadan guild completed, but it's something that I'll probably getting around to doing eventually. (Too damned many subquests and side-quests in this game already...in a good way, though. Almost as many as in, say, Morrowind, but after a time, it got to the point where I had to get on with the main storyline to gain any headway whatsoever.)

If you're wanting to play a Dark Sider PC though, I'd say that it'd be highly advisable to get thyself to Korriban much earlier in the game, in order to take full advantage of the resources and opportunities there.

Yeah...one of my favorite parts of the game was training at the Sith Academy.

In the Rakatan Ancient Temple, any tips for forming the "H" pattern of floor tiles?

Don't hit the tile marked as [1] above...this one automatically resets the entire grid pattern if you step on it even once. At least, that's IIRC.

    Thanks guys! That was correct.

That was bad of the game designers. There are literally dozens of combination patterns. I was thinking you had to form the colour tile H, but it appears the datapad clue meant it literally: "walk" up and down in a H just that.

    The sneaky literal cretins!

Yeah, but "H" is the main portion for it. Figuring out whether to go on, stay, go over, ect is the problem. But if you know the way to open the door, you will figure it out.

Exactly! You could spend untold, frustrating hours doing trial and error like that and get nowhere.

The same thing with the Assassin Droid in the Korriban crypt, and his 8 settings you have to deactivate inthe right order. I spent over an hour with a pen and paper and systematically going through each combo.

And the most horrific of all: those power surges in Ragnos's tomb, the same one you later fighter both Academy Masters. I racked my brain to mentally think three steps ahead, to transfer all four power points from left to right without stuffing it up.

There aren't much puzzles in the game, but some of them don't help you out!

In the Korriban tombs, I basically just attacked stuff, and they'd die, and I'd move on. Skip the puzzles!

What are you talkin' about, dude? I did what Aragorn said. I shot stuff up a lot. I don't even remember what was in ragnos' tomb, but I remember all the tombs were pretty easy, even the one with the two Terenteks. I didn't try to kill the terenteks, I just ran past them using Knight speed, and hit the switch I had to, and there ya go. :p The Tombs were a lot of fun. I loved Adjunta Pall's...did you guys pick up on the Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade elements there?

shooting stuff is for mindless savages, if you read the data pad in the droid tomb it tells you how to not anger the droid.

You have to do the puzzles to move on.

If you don't kill enemies as you go, you don't earn exp points faster to advance your abilities. I killed as much as I could so long as it didn't get me dark side points.

I think I earned a measely 400 pts for the Manaan trial. I regret bringing up the affair apart, I may have earned more. I still won, though.

Hehe, nope. A few puzzles yes, but you don't have to do all the ones you described.

Conne-why skip the Taranteks? That battle was fun!

Don't even know what a Force Wave is. Evidently, I didn't have that power. Trouble with being a light sider is you don't get very good offensive powers. :(

By the way, are there any subplots involve the little droid? Not the assassin droid, the one that gets you in the Sith base on Taris...all he does is beep, so there's never any subplots where you speak to him, is there?

You'll have yourself or Bastila. I wouldn't worry about lacking Juhani -- You can still use Carth or Canderous or HK in your final slot no problem. It's probably better not to have three sabre users anyway.

Can the four locked doors in Marka Ragnos' tomb (the one where the crazy droid was) be opened?!?

I've got T3 up to a security of 34 and he still can't unlock the doors. I'm thinking there's lightsaber crystals in urns like with the other tomb, but for crikey's sake what level do you have to have to open them up?!?

So I got this game for Christmas, and am now on Dantooine. I have made my saber...a shiny new green one...and have found the Dark Jedi.

    Three questions.

1)How do you make a two sided saber?

2)Is there a secret to finding out the problem with the grove? I mean, is there a trick or something? The Council said something about not being deceived...is there something that is underlying what I see on screen? I kill the Hounds, solve the 'murder' mystery, and end up helping the different people I see.

3)Is it bad to be a Jedi Consular? I just wanted the green saber even though the Council said I'd be better suited to a yellow one.

I think you have to retrieve a double-bladed lightsaber from a fallen Dark Jedi or Sith. You can't build one. If you want to change the color of your saber, just go to the crystal cave, whack the eggs, collect the crystals, then modify your saber.

You said you found the Dark Jedi. Did you kill her? If you did, you killed one of the characters, Juhani. You need to persuade her to come back to the light. Battle her until you knock away enough of her HP, which will then trigger a conversation.
