well all this is after i already went into the sewers and killed everything that was down there and then coming back up to find Mission. Because i went to the field in the left and the only people who walked up to me were a band of gang members salvaging things from the escape pod. So do i have to restart my whole game or what? Any help is appreciated.

thanks for the tip on the star forge droids

you guys weren't kidding about the final battle

did i see one of you mention setting the plasma mines on the "aces" of malak? If so, how do you get the mine to go off without someone walking over it?

(its ok to yell if this is the dumbest question asked yet:)

    thanks

Ok, later today I'll go to the Eastern Dune Sea to find the Star Map. Any particular strategy on how to deal with the Krayt Dragon in the cave?

And by the way, are the remains of Bastila's father or his holocron in that location?

Alright, I know this is probably going to have a very obvious answer but, does anyone know how you can get the ritual leader to start the ritual (on the unknown planet)so I can get into the temple.Because He alwase says that I can't enter the temple with others. Is he talking about my party members or some thing else.Oh and I've tried going into solo mode, and it didn't work.

when you get to the dragon, the answer will be there for you, not hard

as for the ritual, at first tell the guide you'll go alone, it will start, get interrupted.... then you just have to insist (persuade) the guide to let more than one in

Nai, you can buy the two vaporators from the merchant in the same office as the official. Then just go back to the Tuskens.
I just did all that last night, don't worry you'll stay light....unless you do not listen to the Tusken chief. But you'll find out what I mean..I don't want to spoil anything.

Solo mode won't do it for the ritual... you need to go into Party Select mode via the map screen and dismiss both other party members that way, then you'll be good to go.

It's infinitely better to stay on the Tusken's good graces. Even opening a container around Tuskens will be a good enough excuse in their eyes to set the entire camp against you. Considering there must be more than a few dozen Tuskens in that enclave, the odds won't be good in any prolongued attempt to kill them all or even attempting to escape the enclave. Besides, even if you're succesful, I'm sure you'll gain dark side points for the indiscriminate slaughter. So after you're through with the chief, walk around the compound, release the prisoners (not without the chief's say-so, of course) and then get the hell outta dodge.

Yeah, I figured out the vaporator thing earlier. Sometimes it's the easiest things that cause me the most trouble. Oh well.

I'm a little surprised I didn't get any Light Side points for my peaceful efforts, though.

Yeah, the scripts are kinda fickle in regards as to what actions award you with Light or Dark Side points. I mean, so far I've cajoled, conned or otherwise Force persuaded some covert and not so covert crooks (even Hutts, whom canon sez should be immune to Force Persuasion) and not gained Dark Side point from what should be selfish manipulations of the mind. The few clear instances when I've gained Dark Side points have been from killing Bendak and claming the bounty on his head and stealing or otherwise Forcefully acquiring my droids (I mean, what choice do you have? They're expensive as hell!). And then there's many a good deed or great quest you undertake that in the end do not reward you with lightside points, whereas the paths you take in certain trivial conversations or scripted quests DO award you with lightside points. ?[face_plain]

I killed all the tuskens and gained lightside points for rescuing the jawas and the mission's brother. It was fairly easy, except for the big battle with the cheif and the 5 other sandpeople in the room.

The tuskens killed me when I opened a container. It was my scoundrel, Bastilla and HK and they ripped us apart...luckily I saved right after the chief thanked me and before I opened it.
I was surprised too I didn't get a LS pt. I don't think I got one for Griff and the Jawas either. My next one was when I talked to Bastila a little after smoothing things over with her and her mom.
Though I dhad earned a nice DS pt and a scolding from Bastila for being mean to the Ithorian with HK.

Has anyone "fixed" HK's programming yet? I don't think I have near the repair skill to do it.

Oh for some fun commentary, for those that haven't gone to the sith planet yet(and for those that have and can go through it again) first time you go in, have Canderous and HK as companions. HK is great when you see the first group of hopefuls and the teacher.

you can't fix HK, you'll know when it happens ;)

I didn't even get HK to take on the tuskens, it was me, bastila, and mission (I thought it would be nice to have her there when we saved her brother, and our cover was blown instantly. but with two jedi, they were easy kills

It certainly is easy to earn Dark Side points. I started an evil character and he was far to the Dark Side before leaving Taris. I suppose that's appropriate, though.

I'm probably way behind most of you and this may be a stupid question, but, I can't seem to find the elevator that takes me to the garage in the Vulkars base on Taris. I've killed everything in the base and I have the passes for the elevator but I can't find it. Do I have to leave the base and go in from another entrance?

look at your map and visit all the unexplored areas of the base. The elevator is there. I believe its in a hallway with another door that is blocked by some boxes and stuff but I'm not 100% on that.

Ok guys, I'm at Tatooine, I've beaten Manaan and Kayshykk with light side, with a few comprimises here and there (the giant shark poisoning, buying HK) but here's my delima. I was going out into the dune sea with HK and the Wook, kept getting killed everytime. Finally I noticed the Tuskens were dueling with me, but since I failed to equip Zaalbar with any dueling points, rather putting more emphasis on critical strikes and brute force, he's the first to die. I switched him out with Juhani, who up until now I considered useless. She hold her own, and even with a master dueler like Carth, I'm still having trouble. Is there some particular trick or tip at getting by these ambushments, or do I have to take them as they come? The waves of attacks at the Sandcrawler was too much for me to recover from.
Makes one wonder how powerful Anakin had to be to take out an entire tribe of these guys, alone and on their own turf, err, sand.

OK everybody... I am getting smoked at the same spot. I am in Tattoine and I have like 11 Sand People "get-ups". I am trying to get into the Sand People enclave and my group is me, Bastila, and HK (he's a riot!). We put on the Sand People clothes, yet we still get continually ambushed by the raiders. After fighting them off, the turrets then finish all of us. I cannot destroy those stinkin things! I have tried sneaking by, through the middle of the desert, around the edges, but we always get ambushed. I have tried with no weapons, only gaffi sticks, and with our usual weapons. WHY can't I get into the enclave? What am I missing?

I'm having a tough time beating the mandalorian leader on Dantooine. I saw a few pages back someone suggested putting 3 jedi in your party and it shouldn't be hard. How do you do that? The only ones I can put in my party are Mission, Carth, the astromech droid, Big Z, and that other soldier guy(can't remeber his name right now). How do you put other jedi in your party?

Also does anyone know anything about the lightsaber crystal caves on Dantooine. I've heard about them and want to get crystals to modify my lightsaber, but I haven't seen any of the caves.

There's a crystal cave on the far eastern "Sandral Estate" map, I believe. You have to get through a bunch of spiders for the crystals, though.

Anyway, I've got a 100% Dark Side character now after finishing Dantooine. Having Force Lightning cost only 10 FP is pretty nice. I find it a little amusing that you've got your own personal Dark Side point machine on the Ebon Hawk (Sasha).
