That will be somewhere in a cave on Korriban. In that cave you will find those 3 or 4 students that run away. When you kill that giant spider/terantek for them and you go across that bridge to the left you will find the robes.

Anyone else here dissapointed by how easy Malak was on normal after all the hype about how strong he is?

The first time through, he was qctually quite hard to beat for me with my scout 6/ consular 14. Without proper "feating", skilling and two sabers, I had to retreat to saber throws. The third (and last) time through with my scout 4/ guardian 16 and optimal "feating", he was not much of a threat.

    LL :)

Not Ulic's but Cay's, I think. I think they're on Korriban after you kill the single teranterek.

    Qel-Droma Robes

    Feats Required: Jedi Defense
    Defense Bonus: 5
    Max Dexterity Bonus: +8
    Wisdom: +2
    Restricted to Light Side

The Force is strong in the Qel-Droma blood, and many of the family have joined the Jedi Order over the centuries. These robes were creates as a gift for Cay Qel-Droma during the war against Exar Kun, and it is said that only one who truly walks the path of the light can wear them. Cay himself wore the robes in
his duel against Ulic Qel-Droma, his brother who had fallen to the dark side. Cay was slain in the battle, but his death at his brother's hand eventual lead
to Ulic's redemption. These powerful robes then passed down to Duron Qel-Droma, Cay's cousin, when he joined the Jedi. But Duron disappeared shortly after the time of the Great Hunt, and the robes were lost with him.

So yes indeed, the robes were from Cay and passed them on to Duron.

Edit: Killing guardian droids: Just like you (well I did) kill every single enemy: Masterflurry, or normal flurry. When I got Jolee I trained him (and Juhani a bit) in the force power 'Destroy droid' so you might want to do the same. Those 2 together with that feat is really handy when you get to the Starforge.

I had a lot of computer spikes and just made other star forge droids to counter the guardian droids. It was a fun battle to watch.

I was wondering what happened to this thread in my absence. :p

When you kill that giant spider/terantek for them and you go across that bridge to the left you will find the robes.

Wanna know what's sad? I didn't find those until my third or fourth time through. [face_frustrated] :p

Anyone else here dissapointed by how easy Malak was on normal after all the hype about how strong he is?

The first time he was quite simple, yeah, it was disappointing. Though 20 Dex will do that. :p It's really weird: my best build was my first game and I have no idea what I did. :p That was a Scout(8)/Guardian(12).

I didn't know about level saving at the time, so I guess it was easier, having the Scout's nice free feats (Like Implant 3! ).

When I got Jolee I trained him (and Juhani a bit) in the force power 'Destroy droid' so you might want to do the same. Those 2 together with that feat is really handy when you get to the Starforge.

I normally give Jolee Destroy Droid as well. But Force Storm is pretty nice too. (Though that's just 'cause I'd die without Storm. :p My name is Gloria, and I'm a Force Storm Addict. :( :p )

I had a lot of computer spikes and just made other star forge droids to counter the guardian droids. It was a fun battle to watch.

Um.. Beg pardon? Where was this? I'm interested now. xP I normally just run from droids on the Forge. [face_mischief] Well, the A-F droids anyway. :p

Go to each console and either shut them doen or spawn droids of your own, you get xp etc. Make sure you have a lot of computer spikes.

But you can just walk through the droids, and go up to the door and bash it open with your lightsaber.

OMG ppl read his droid post before u reply... he said on Dantooine not on starforge...he wont have any of those powers yet on dantooine. To beat those two droids u have to fight use melee weapons+ ion weapons. If u still cant beat them use either ion grenades, the lightning force powers, or the sun droid force powers if u have. Just keep trying (and use Canderous he owns with prototype vibroblade+missions vibroblade). GOOD LUCK!

Ps: to all u others he talking about the part in Dantooine with the two comp terminals that ask u about life giving/death giving worlds...the place where Nemo died.

My apologies if this has already been discussed. I'm new to both this thread and gaming in general - I got KOTOR this past Christmas, and it's my first game ever. I know my question is probably a bit of a bother, but I don't know where else to turn.

Every online item guide I've read and my own experience says I should find two Mandalorian heavy pistols on Calo Nord. These are probably the best generic pistols in the game, and it'd be really nice to have these - for free - until I can scrape up the credits to buy Cassus Fett's heavy pistol.

That said, I'm currently on Kashyyyk, and I've killed Calo Nord and his goons maybe ten times without getting the twin pistols. It's not as if he doesn't have the blasters - he uses them to take chunks out of my party - but the only items I can get off his cold, dead corpse are his battle armor, 2000 creds, and some combination of an advanced medpac, an antidote kit, a poison grenade, and a sonic grenade.

My first game, I ran into Calo Nord on Manaan, with Carth and Juhani in my party. The next game, I went to Tatooine first and fought Calo with Carth and Juhani again. I don't have either of those games saved, so I can't be 100% certain, but I'm pretty sure both games I had the Mandalorian heavy pistols without having to slap down creds. This latest game, so far, I've killed Calo with Bastila and Canderous, then Juhani and Bastila.

I hope it doesn't matter which planet you face Calo on, so I want to know whether the items you can pick off his remains change depending on who you have in your party. To get the Mandalorian heavy pistols, do I have to have a pistol-wielder, i.e. Carth, in my party? I've never seen this mentioned anywhere, and it seems a bit out there, but I can't come up with any other plausible explanation. Well, except that the game bugged out on me, and even this doesn't seem too likely as everything was running smoothly. I don't know why I would be having trouble getting all the items off Calo Nord when I pick up all the expected stuff out of the dozen boxes, crates, footlockers and bins on Kashyyyk.

At any rate, I'm stumped. I'm going to kill Calo Nord - for the nth time - tonight with Carth and Juhani, and I'll see what happens. Still, it'd be nice to know what's going on.

I just assumed its a glitch. I know its not related just to what planet you've fought him on...I've faught him on Tatooine and gotten them, and sometimes he just didn't drop them there.

    It made me sad.

Hell i have never gotten anything good cept his armor off of Calo and Ive killed him about 5 or so times.
Good to know u can get those off of him...

By the way anyone else here find the easy way to fix HK-47?
I had just finished the Leviathian and Carth was being an *******(as usual) about me beeing Revan and all. So for no reason this time I asked everyone else if they backed me up still. When I asked HK he gave me some line about his homing systems being online and then said he had regained his memory. He still pretty much sucks at fighting but it cool to know he was made by Revan to be an Assasin/bodyguard.

PS: Just discovered the awesome +5 strength gloves on Korriban...last time through I never talked to that guy to see his "premium" items.

Darn. It makes me sad, too. I killed Calo with Carth and Juhani, but still didn't get the heavy pistols. Just for kicks, I fought him again with Mission and T3, then again after stashing all the blaster pistols in my inventory in a bin somewhere. With lots of saving and loading in between. Still no luck. :(

I figure most of the experts are either playing or discussing KOTOR II, so if you don't mind, I'll give your question a shot.

If you've already been captured by the Leviathan and played the Big Revelation, you can't repair HK anymore. HK's repair sidequest - if you got it in the first place - is completed.

Though I've never done it myself, I believe you need a total Repair skill of 17 to fix HK. This has to be your PC, too, so you can't get T3 or Mission to fix HK. Because of the steep skill requirements, HK's sidequest is really only accessible to scouts or scoundrel/Jedi consulars, both of whom may be skill intensive and have Repair as a class skill. There are also a few items around that boost your Repair skill and INT.

Calrissian's Utility Belt - Computer Use, Demolitions, Repair, Security +3
Dantooine, Jedi Enclave, Crattis Yurkal, 3,000-5,000c?

Advanced Agent Interface - Awareness, Computer Use, Demolitions, Repair, Security +7
Yavin, Suvam Tan, 10,000c (or 8,000c w/20% Pazaak discount)

    Memory Package - INT +1
Taris, Hidden Bek Base, Gadon Thek

Right. The good news is that all three items can be equipped at the same time. The bad news is that Calrissian's belt is for PC only, Yavin has to be downloaded for Xbox, and you need to both play DS and have Implant 1 for the Memory Package... and it'd only do you good if your INT is odd. Still, if you're a DS scout, it's worth the effort to repair HK. Not only do you get to listen to various amusing (if slightly morbid) stories about HK's former masters, but with every repair HK gains DEX and defense, with the last two granting him 1 point, then 2 points regen per round.

PS: Just discovered the awesome +5 strength gloves on Korriban...last time through I never talked to that guy to see his "premium" items.

Yes, very nice. Though the darn things are... what? The second most expensive item in the game? I think the Mantle of the Force crystal is the only thing more expensive, but you can get a discount on that! I was way too poor to buy those my last couple games. It really is much easier to be rich if you're evil. :p

edit: Oops. Just noticed you were asking if anyone had figured out the Big Revelation cures HK's amnesia. Well, I'm too lazy to delete all that junk I wrote. Besides, it's still valid if you want HK to be the crazy killer droid he was built to be.

wait so does HK get any bonuses if u restore his memory after Leviathian? I dont know because i never ever use him...I always just use force heal and sell all repair parts/construction kits (as well as medpacs)

?Mantle of the Force Crystal?...I guess thats another item Ive missed every time...Where can you get that and how good is it?

Yeah, I just picked up those strength gloves, but it was only after I had escaped the Leviathan and went back to Korriban. I'm now on Manaan, getting my last star map.
Question: If you end up leaving the Temple on Korriban without wrapping up the Dustil Onasi sidequest, is there any way to still complete it? The Temple door is sealed from the inside. I didn't kill Dustil because I left the Temple after fighting the Sith teachers & students in the training room.
When I talk to Carth, he still wants to find eveidence to convince Dustil that the Sith are evil. I'm wondering if it's too late though.

Yeade - Too.. Much.. to.. copy.. :p

Are you on PC? I play Xbox, and I don't think I have ever even seen ONE blaster. [face_tired] Unless I just didn't pay attention which is probably it.. but still. [face_beatup] [face_frustrated]

Nope. Only if you repeair him before. [face_worried]

Oh those are nice. I normally rarely buy anything through out the game so I have some creds to burn at that place. [face_mischief]

If you're playing PC, you buy it from the guy at Yavin. Yeah, it's a lightsaber crystal. [face_plain]

Odyssey_Miles - How do you manage to get into Uthar's room?

    Two ways. :)

1.) You can go back and get T3 and bring him to open the door and it will be in the footlocker in front of the door.

    or

2.) You can play out the whole betrayal act. You know, play both sides with Yuthura or whatever her name is. Tell her Uthar is planning on having you face her as your final test and she will get angry and then give you a passkey to his room and tell you to put something in his bed that will make him weak. :D

I know it says no cheats but I dont deem this a cheat more like a glich. If you need $$$ for shopping in KOTOR just goto Mannan and go to the underwater base. Go to any of the pressure doors and equip all you real expensive stuff. Then go outside. Come right back in and you'll have double the equipment that your wearing in inventory!! Works great for lightsaber crystals and robes.... Do that like 20 times then sell all the extra armour and stuff. BIG TIME $$$$ so much you wont be able to spend it all!!!
