Gaming KOTOR remake (it’s really happening) (No it isn't)

We’ll have years of speculation ahead of us

 

I'm not sure how much depth such a character needs
He wants what all Sith do, power. He was fed up of living in the shadow of his master so he plotted his downfall and seized the Star Forge to help him conquer the galaxy.

Maybe a bit of backstory about how he was a good Jedi corrupted by Revan aftet the Mandalorian War might be interesting, but as the antagonist he just needs to be evil and powerful

 

In order to redeem the character, Revan should kill a bunch of people in a hallway with his or her laser sword.

 

If there's one thing you can count on it's a dark sider having a cool hallway scene.

 

So the hallway murder scene is the light side ending then?

 

Both endings. It's that awesome.

 

The villains are cooler though.

That's why Revan is so popular, looks really cool and was crazy powerful.
Also has a hilarious murder droid companion.

The Vader level was the best part of the not very good TFU games.
Hurling Wookiees into giant trees and off high platforms never gets old.

The Dark Side powers are also way more fun to use.
Force Scream & Crush were awesome in the KOTOR games, mainly because they could be very OP

If the knights of the old republic remake succeeds, do you guys also think it’s possible for a shadows of the empire or a force unleashed remake games to be a possibility as well?

 

Doubt it, more likley more old republic games.

Also Rebels has already taken the force unleashed story with the rebellion.

 

The Inquisitors have replaced Galen Marek in Star Wars canon.
For the better IMO

It's a shame the Republic Commando remaster wasn't better.

I'd like to see a KOTOR II remake & Episode I Racer

Fallen Order is the new Jedi Knight series
Squadrons is the new X-Wing/TIE Fighter
So those games won't be redone

 

Also Fallen Order is ajedi series now and Cal is just one of the jedi they'll tell stories with.

 

Squadrons is absolutely nothing like the old X-Wing/TIE Fighter series, other than the one multiplayer game.

 

I think they' make new x-wing series soon.

 

Hopefully a new clone wars game too like Republic commando

 

I am going to say unlikely for The Force Unleashed remake (Fallen Order is its replacement in my mind). Starkiller has been criticized as being too powerful.

Shadows of the Empire is unlikely unless there is a certainty the nostalgia will make big sales.

 

Honestly I don’t think any predictions about other remakes are possible right now because we don’t even really know the scope of this one. Like, do they remake TFU? Maybe if “remake” turns out to just be polishing the mechanics and graphics enough to be a midrange title, maybe not if “remake” means a meticulous AAA grade reimagining from the ground up. There’s just nothing to go on.
