By the way...change the subtitle of the second film...there's already a Revelations fanfilm out there..and besides I'm sure there's a better name than that. As for Manaan well...

STAR WARS
THE SHROUD OF DARKNESS (suggestion...or shroud of the Darkside)

The war against the Sith is becoming more brutal.
DARTH MALAK has dispatched assassins to the far reaches
of the galaxy to find and destroy the Jedi.

Meanwhile, LOGAN STARR and BASTILA SHAN continue their
secret mission to find the ancient Star Maps that may lead
then to the mysterious STAR FORGE.

As the Jedi and their companions search the nuetral world of Manaan,
DARTH BANDON, apprentice to MALAK, prepares to hunt down and destroy

<camera pans down to reveal the Sith ship and we have a scene with Malak and Bandon, then wipe to Manaan (about 3/4 through the mission on the planet) snf continue from there>

Something like that though obviously you'll be limited to what footage is in the game

The Endar Spire clip is done but I need to touch it up (my secret has to do with Mission on the Endar Spire lmao.) All together I think it's about six minutes long. As for part of Jedsithor's idea I'm going to make a few "custom" movies of the Leviathan once I get the mod tools more figured out.

I got youtube working again and can watch Kayden's clips (they look nice btw even though you wont read this for awhile...)

You kaydon have you color corrected the scenes?

 

Can someone help me with the HUD? I know there's a way, but I have no clue how to turn the HUD OFF completely.

Help would be appreciated greatly.

 

I'm not sure you can with xbox. Kaydon seems to have left it on his.

 

Walking in the cantina = No HUD.

However, I was thinking about doing it another way. Perhaps, when the DVD recorder records it, the HUD is automatically cut out? My uncle's screenshots work the same way, the faces, mini-map (though this can be turned off in the menu), and all status menus are deleted. He simply uses "Print Screen", saves the image accordingly in a file path something like C:\ >> Program Files >> SWKOTOR >> (so on). It seems possible to just record the video and not the HUD.

Not sure though....

If you have it on the computer you can just push caplock and clear away everything. I'm not sure about X-box though.

I'm using Fraps but it looks fine until I put them through Adobe Premiere

 

i would definatly like to see this movie of yours because first of all i love kotor and second of all i think thats a pretty good idea... i was actually thinking of making a live actor movie based on kotor...

oops double post...so I am editing this to say uh...well to ask really, when these movies are done, how will we see them? Will it be dvd only? Or through a torrent or rapidshare or something?

 

A torrent would be excellent, then he can store as much as he want on the DVD (if he have space enough for the hardrive)
But If he has a server with unlimited space, no problem that works even better (offten faster download speed)

 

torrents always seem to go very slow for me. If it's on ypusend it or something, even if it has to be split, then that's fine with me...multiple options makes for happy people

FINALLY!!!

This weekend I'm going to be FINALLY moving to Florida where I'll begin working on recording, major story lining, etc.... All will be better with the ability to reference the game.

Anyway Kaydon's movie cannot be released on youtube or google video. That would destroy everything! The quality of the sound and of the video is so "corrupted" there.

I would be happy to have the episode in a whole piece, but all clips (maby 10 min each) of the episode doesn't matter.

And do you have any good scenes that Logan Starr are angry/irritated with some of his party members?
The last question, which format will the episode be released in and will there be extra material?

Well, I'm stuck here in this hellhole that is Georgie for another couple of weeks. A few... "technicalities" (that I wish would fall off the end of the Earth) have caused a bit of delay.

Still working on the script (of course) but the final Endar Spire script is in the works, and Taris is coming along nicely.

 

i checked the links a couple of pages back and the site wont load and cant be found... can you send me a fresh link or a download for it?

 

Wow I havern't checked here for a while and Kaydon comes back with new clips! Wow thats great. Too bad I'm at school right now and it blocks youtube. I'll view them when I get home!
