This was one of the best songs in the movie, but it wasn't in the CD. Why? This theme was in the previews too.

First of all, there are no songs in this scene!

    They are tracks or cues.

Are you talking about the score in the film, or the bonus track On The Conveyor Belt that was on the Limited Edition cds sold at Target?

Here's an old thread talking about the bonus track.

p.s. The themes that are heard in this cue in the film are the Force Theme and Yoda's Theme.

The droid factory music was mostly tracked in from other parts of the film. Mostly the Chase Through Coruscant and then the uses of the Force theme and Yoda's theme that Ken mentioned. Also the On the Conveyor Belt track was chopped up in there too.

It's really a crappy mish mash if you ask me.

Yah, I actually like that. But that is tracked on from when Padmé falls out of the gunship. :(

    Love the cue, but...

Everytime George Lucas re-uses music in a Star Wars movie, God kills a kitten.

Think of all the kittens. :(

Oh, geez. That picture was going around my school. What does the "real" reason for that picture have to do with kittens! Now you guys are using it for George Lucas! LOL! [face_laugh] Very funny, ha ha.

Actually convetion footage has a totally different soundtrack on this scene than what was shown in the movie.

Whoa, what're you talking about? What convention? I was at Celebration II, so if you're talking about that... I have no idea what you're talking about.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I like the selection of music that was used during the droid factory sequence.

//runs away to avoid flying projectiles

    Mace Windy,
    this signature blows!

I'll say this. It works well. It's not distracting like the Battle of Geonosis "music" is. I still wish this scene had original score by John Williams.

Yah, I'll agree with Timo. It works. And it works far better than the pile of poop that was the Battle of Geonosis' music, but I would have liked original music all the way through. :)

I liked hearing the Force Theme and Yoda's Theme in there. And I agree, the rest does not take anything away from the scene, like the Arena battle track-in.

    edit: typo

Yes, it does take away from the scene, mainly because of the glaringly bad transitions.

I am sure it was the Celebration 2...but I could be mistaken. Anyway, I have the footage with the other music anyway.

I guess the transitions do not annoy me nearly as much as all the other horrid edits in AOTC.
