I tired to find the one were lettermen gets dozens of santas to go into a donut shop but i found this one.

 

@Jar-Jar Binks Got introduced to the Wars in 2004 over Christmas via my dad. We watched A New Hope (Special Edition of course ), and then over the next few days/weeks off we went through ESB, ROTJ, TPM, and AOTC. ROTJ was my favorite after I first watched the OT, and I do remember staying home sick to watch ANH (I doubt I was actually sick, because the first thing I did was watch A New Hope!). TPM actually blew my mind when I first saw it in the weeks after that - I could not believe how FAST the Jedi were moving, and then AOTC took it to a new level when Mace Windu turned on a purple lightsaber and Yoda went crazy at the end. I vaguely remember my siblings and I all doing our best Yoda impressions with the plastic toy Yoda saber we had. ROTS wasn't even out yet!

So you could say Star Wars is very much a "family thing" for me.

 

Forgot to add that I was in 5th grade at the time. So the Yoda "reveal" in ESB was not a surprise at all for me - I knew who he was due to pop culture.

the late show with jar jar binks would like to thank you lady b for being a user that makes sure to post after me so i can keep posting.

 

No plans for New Years Eve at the present. I usually do something with my group of hometown friends but it seems like they are...otherwise engaged...this year...sigh.

And I am not a fan of Vin Diesel.

No tattoos, but define "decor?"

 

Why are we talking about Southwest airlines decorations?

 

Well, I will be moving into a new place soon, so kind of hard to say, but usually there is Star Wars stuff everywhere. Coffee cups, glasses, posters, Legos, and even a Death Star serving platter.

one of my favorite songs from 2023 may roll some eyes;

 

The best part of 2023 for me wasmost of the year (minus the last three months)...

I saw so many concerts; got visit Las Vegas and Atlanta. Met loads of famous people at a few cons
(even made a great friend at one, and been hanging out with him ever since).

Overall, 2023 was good year, (even the last three months couldn't take that away).

Looking forward to 2024, and what all is yet to come!

 

The best parts of 2023 were moving into my new apartment and taking the train to see my sister.

 

I refuse to answer this question on the grounds that it may incriminate me.

 

Best part of 2023? Attending the Illinois State Track Meet as a coach this year - I loved the kids and my coworkers at my last school lots, they were so great to work with!

Favorite SW vehicles: The Death Star II, the Death Star, the Invisible Hand, the Jedi Defender-class Corvette, the Mortis Monolith, the BT-7 Thunderclap, the Resolute, the Republic Gunship, the Sith Infiltrator, the Ebon Hawk (I'm a bit shaky on this list, but that's what I can come up with off the top of my head)
3. Favorite SW music: "Star Wars Main Title and the Arrival at Naboo," "I Am the Senate" (when Mace and the Jedi arrest Palpatine), "Clash of Titans" (when Yoda and Sidious duel in the Senate Chamber), "Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and Darth Maul Continue Battle," "Everyone Fighting" (from the Altar of Mortis episode), "Revan" (the main theme from KOTR), "Maul, Savage, and Vizsla" (from The Clone Wars), "Attack of the Clones" (when the clones arrive on Geonosis), "The Lawless" (when Sidious goes to fight Maul and Savage), and "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" (the main theme) - Again, off the top of my head, and I could definitely keep going, I love these scores so much, but I'll restrict myself to these 10!
4. Favorite SW lightsaber color: Purple, and I'm sure @cubman987 will be surprised to hear it
5. What movies do you enjoy watching: Honestly, I enjoy most movies I watch. There are some you watch that are just yuck, but mostly, I tend to have a positive attitude about most films. It's a movie, you're supposed to be having fun watching it! I generally prefer franchise films though: Star Wars, Middle-Earth, the SnyderVerse, and the MCU in specific. If you are really curious, I have a list of all the movies I have given a 10/10 to I can put it in a separate post
6. What TV shows do you like? I'll type out my Top 10.

8. Any pets? My family has the MOST AMAZING DOG EVER named Bogey - I can post a photo if you want!
9. How big is your family? I have 1 brother (6 years younger than me) and 1 sister (2 and a half years younger), so 5 people and 1 dog
10. Why do you dislike Vin Diesel? He's a terrible actor.
