    General Grievous.

His character was too over the top and completely corny. He coughs all the time and yet is able to jettison himself into space and live? Huh? And whoever did his voice needs to stop doing voice-over work. Now.

My least favorite character is Mace Windu. Three movies did Lucas have to flesh him out fully, and in each three he failed to make him seem any more like a dumb knave with a lightsaber and a superiority complex. And I'll challenge anyone who says that Mr. Superfly TNT's light-up-the-night-sky death sequence was anything but 'going out like a punk'.

My second least favorite character was General Grievous. Every scene reminded me of Snidely Whiplash from the old Dudley Do-Right cartoon. All he needed was the monacle and the handlebar mustache. Then he could have said, "I'll get you Jedis if it's the last thing I do!" No, Lucas, slinking away at every possible opportunity to prove why he is called Grievous and making his four-saber style show itself in a 30 second fight is not a good way to develop a character. And I personally think that shooting for a (YOU CAN LISTEN TO THE ROTS DIRECTOR'S COMMENTARY IF YOU WANT) "villain with asthma" is one of the most insensitive comments I've heard any so-called PC person make in my lifetime.

A close runner-up is Lucas' Political Commentary (I consider this to be a complete PT character upon itself). I come to Star Wars films to watch a good film franchise, not to be lectured on who I voted for last election. That, and the poor attempts at marketing for children *cough*Jar-Jar*cough*, really put a damper on my PT experience.

Jar Jar in TPM. I actually liked most of the scenes he was in from the Battle of Naboo, but I thought he needed to be toned down in the earlier scenes. Oh yeah, the 2 headed announcer! Hated that guy.

I'd agree with the 2 headed guy, too 'Earth' sounding (if that makes sense), but I'd say my least favourite overall would be Padmé, she was just a bit... boring or something. Not sure exactly but I just have no interest in her at all.

Those little kids before Anakins Podrace. Kistster and Wald

And that old lady (Jira) that said: Gracious, my bones are aching...storm's coming on, Annie. You'd better get home quick.

And ofcourse Jar Jar. My mother thought he was funny. I turned off the TV the very next second and explained why it wasn't funny at all!

It'd be easy for me to say Jar Jar. Really easy. He is, by far, the most grating character. But his role diminished greatly after TPM and he didn't have much of an impact on the plot.

Therefore, I have to go with Padme due to her larger presence in the overall story. Natalie's *cough* performance, coupled with horrible lines and sloppy character development, are enough to make her my least favorite. But the fact that one cannot skip her scenes or put her on mute as easily as Jar Jar - without missing some of the plot - just solidifies it.

Padme really wasn't the greatest of characters...she was okay in the Phantom Menace cause she was queen and all..but after that...nope..boring now.

and Boss Nass...I won't go there.

but I really hated Palpatine! Can't stand him!!! NOT UNTIL THE OT...BUT HE STILL SCARES ME!

why? anakin in the prequel trilogy annoyed the heck outa me (especially in ep.1) padme was a good character, but natalie portman didn't do a great job on her, that's all. and palpatine was excellent in ep.3.

Padme' bugs me because she is boring and Sidious bugs me because he destroyed the Old Republic and the Jedi Order and killed Kit Fisto. I really have never liked Anakin either.

It's a toss up for me either Bail (I don't like the way his character was handled.) Or the extreamly overrated Aura Sing.
