Vrono opened his eyes to the darkness that was his apartment.

He turned over to go back to sleep when he rolled on his comm unit. He heard a beep sound and the next thing he knew he was hearing Wyl's voice.

"Hey, Vrono. Get back to me. We need to meet. It's not safe to talk over comms too much. I'm on my way to Tatooine."

Vrono sat looking at the ceiling until the message finished. Wyl was going to Tatooine and Vrono was still on Denon. He said that talking on comms was not safe anymore, so the only way he could communicate with Wyl would have to be face to face.

He sat up on his bed and looked around. He had enough money from the photos to get off planet, and seeing as how Stormys were now investigating him, he would have to sneak off. He stood and picked up his bag and started to pack his supplies.

The blond boy nodded, but walked up to the consoles and started typing up stuff.

?This?ll only take a second? he apologized to the captain ?I just wanna?.kriff! Sir? Someone?s messing with my toys and is scanning the ship?s comm frequencies?? he stopped talking ?Yeah, whoever it is is making contact with another ship and is fracking getting every single message we send, annoying creep.?

With that he left everything he had found out open for Kraid to check as he dashed out.

Running out of the lift tube he kept running, skidded around a corner and stopped at the galley. He examined everyone with bright, keen eyes -ignoring the odd looks he got- before running off again.

He nearly fell on his butt as he stopped before a new guy. The one that had come with the crate.

?Yo, quit it? he demanded, folding his arms across his chest ?Is it you who?s comming someone? Captain asked me to tell whoever it was to stop, direct orders? I mean everyone?s at the galley or at the lounge eating. Sorry? why don?t you go talk to him when we?re off again and ask him about it??

Rye stopped and inspected the emotionless visage, not a tinge of fear in his big brown eyes. He broke into a grin.

?You?re new, eh? I?m Ryelee?who would you be??

After a shower, Azul walked into the galley, wearing black, tight pants, a black tank top and a black mini skirt over the pants. She smiled sleepily

?Hello, people? she grinned, noticing a new guy standing by the doorway, talking to Sinya ?Oh, we haven?t met, have we? My name?s Azul, welcome aboard?

She then turned to Sinya with pleading eyes.

?I s there anything I could eat? Please?? she batted her long eyelashes jokingly at the Twi?lek.

The Twi'lek shrugged. "I haven't the fainest clue. Maybe the capt'n has a hot date he doesn't want to be late for? I mean, geeze, he already wanted to redecorate the ship and all." She gave an alluring grin that made Wyl's insides flutter, then got up to wash a dish. She was hiding something. They were all hiding something, and they were doing an awful job of hiding that they were hiding something. Nonetheless, they were obstinate.

He decided to press on. "Well," he said, still talking to the Twi'lek, "everyone's running from someone, these days. The blaster scoring on your ship says you guys are running, too. Though, this is a smuggler ship, so there's nothing surprising about that." He grinned lightly at her. "Still...everyone has their own personal reasons. You running from anything?"

Sinya finished with the bowl Ryelee had been using and turned slightly to place the bowl in a cabneit. "Hon, this ship's probably older or very near my age. I'm sure you'll find loads of blaster scoring on it if you look hard enough." She crossed her arms, a smirk hanging on her lips. "And yeah, I run from idoits who think I'm a piece of meat or jewelry. What are you running from? A deadline?" She smiled, although she mocked the man. She knew he knew she was only doing it in fun.

As she talked to Wyl, she saw Azul make her way into the galley.

I s there anything I could eat? Please?

Sinya giggled at the girl who was batting her eyelashes. She went to the cabneit where she placed the clean bowl and poured the girl some noodles. She handed the bowl to her. "Ya know, ya should eat more. You don't want to be waisting away." She said, still smiling.

Wyl smiled briefly and nodded at the pretty young human girl who had just entered. How was it that this ship had exclusively beautiful women on it? Anyhow, he turned away and continued his conversation with the Twi'lek, though she was clearly eager to change the subject. Something about her attitude made this entertaining. It passed the time, anyway.

"Ah," he said, leaning forward and folding his hands on the table, "but as you just said, the Captain's been redecorating. This ship is old, but it's in good condition. New paint, new polish, well maintained hull, cushy interior...your story would hold up if she looked like just another banged up piece of junk, but this baby's been tuned up. I'd imagine it hasn't been terribly long since this ship last left home port, eh? Could it even be her maiden voyage as the Fool's Gamble?"[/b] He paused shortly to let his point get across, "Either way, this damage is new."

Struck with a pang of guilt about what she had said about the men in her life, though, he decided to soften his tone, and to take his eyes off her long, shapely legs. "So what am I running from?" He leaned away from the table, again. "Well...I wrote something bad. No. What I wrote was really good. It just...it got me in trouble. Made the wrong kind of people angry. So...now I need to get away. So yeah...I'm running, too."

    IC: Millik Arca
    Tatooine, Mos Eisley, Spaceport Hotel

Going to need a refill, Millik thought to himself, plopping his flask back on the table next to him. It had become a bit lighter and the small shake that Millik had given it before he had taken a sip from it gave it a hint that about a quarter of the flask was still full. He'll worry about that later, he had other things to worry about.

The leather glove that usually hid most of his left arm had been pulled off and now it was just lying around on the table next to his flask. For his left arm in particular, it was basically splayed out on the table with Millik leaning his head down close to it, his right hand moving around over the arm as he looked it over. Ever since he had gotten the prosthetic so long ago, Millik had gone to some extent to learn some engineering to at least keep the arm in working order. With his free, lonely time in the hotel and with nothing else to do, a quick maintenance check wasn't exactly going to cut into his time.

Then what are you going to do after that? a voice questioned in his mind.

Gotta get the flask refilled, Millik replied to his own contradicting thoughts. Kind of need it when you're on a desert planet with more then one sun beaming down on you.

    And then...

Hit the cantina, make some more credits. Squinting his eyes a little at his mechanical arm, Millik's hand moved over to one of the joints of his constantly twitching pinky finger and scratched out some sand that was getting into the joint. With the former Jedi having always been careful with his meager possessions, damage wasn't really something Millik had to worry about. Mostly he checked the power supply and, ever since coming to Tatooine, made sure the several joints and any other parts of his mechanical, skeletal-looking arm that kept the thing working weren't becoming clogged with the planet's eternal supply of sand.

You use the gifts that which you were taught in a way that you weren't, the same contradicting voice continued.

Gifts alone don't keep you hydrated or feed a hungry stomach, Millik replied once again. This wasn't something that was rare, there was no outside source from where this voice was coming from, it was simply the Jedi's long-shunned conscience. Ever since he managed to escape Ossus and cut himself completely off from his own Jedi comrades as well as limit his contact with society for only when necessary, Millik had more then his fair share of mental arguments - though sometimes he spoke out loud when he replied. At first he thought he was finally going insane with arguing with himself, but as time went on, he had decided that these arguments were the only things that were keeping him sane.

Then what shall you do next? the voice implored. More maintenance, more drinking, more hiding, continue to desecrate that which you have been taught?

Unless I'm discovered. Then I'll just find a ticket off this planet. Then I'll go back to doing those things once I find another hiding spot. Unless I'm caught. Millik shrugged to himself. I won't have to worry about anything if that comes to pass.

It would be so much easier that way wouldn't it?

Millik chose not to dignify his own conscience with an answer. Instead, he only narrowed his eyes at his prosthetic, suddenly growing increasingly annoyed with this minor task. With an annoyed grunt, Millik suddenly waved his right hand over his left arm, tapping into a small resevoir of his Force abilities to power some minor telekenetic abilities to blast whatever sand was left on his arm off. Unfortunately, for his effort there was a small squeak of stressed metal and then his pinky finger suddenly stilled.

"Come on," Millik finally spoke allowed, his teeth gritting a bit. The fingers of his right hand took the sudden unmovable, metal digit of his left and just experimentally moved it right and left. The finger did move, but once Millik let go and tried to mo

I'm the one signaling, and no I will not stop. Its a Slave Circuit Beacon for my ship to follow us once we leave.

The Captain may come speak with me about it if he wishes. And tell them not to blast my fighter as it appraoches.

Hexis didn't wait for the boy to respond, he just walked away. He didn't care of the troubles of this ship, or anyone on board except what he was here to do.

He didn't even care about the boy even. He only needed to ensure the crate made it to tatooine and then he would be free of the Hutts.

    Vitch-Galley

The Amani finished his soup and set the empty bowl on the table. He walked out towards the Cargo Bay, and searched for his wepons and his trinkets. He pushed a box aside and found where he hid them earlier. He put on his trinkets, put his throwing spears in his satchel and picked up his lance. He gripped his lance tightly, he had missed it when he faught against the Storm Troopers. Vitch yawned and streached, he had slept to long for his liking. He walked down the hall way and past the Galley. He walked all the way to the Lift Tubes and got in one, he looked at the buttons and pressed the up arrow. The doors opened to the Bridge, he saw the captain there, sitting in the co-piolt's seat. He walked up to the Duros and bowed. "I sorry If I cause any trouble for ju while I was under te Medical Treatment...." Vitch said.

"Repulsor drive up!" Kraid looked at the Captain. "Please tell me to punch it, cuz I sure didn't like how you stood up and looked out the window, and I don't want to know what the hell is waiting for us out there, but I think I do know."

The chatter of Primus Departure filled his headset. He switched to the shipwide comm and announced, "Everyone, buckle down for a, ah, quick departure!" He eyed the Captain again, and he became more concerned as he observed his facial expressions and body language. "Jedi? Crazy or Red or... kriff I don't care what type of Jedi is out there!" Kraid was almost pleading to the Captain. "C'mon Cap'n, let's get the kriff out of here!"

Just then the Amani walked on board the bridge and spoke to the Captain. Kraid couldn't help but blurt out his thoughts. "Is there only THREE of us on board this damn thing that realizes WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW???"

OOC: Good to see ya postin? again, Sarge! Now to just get the rest of the game to you and you can do it more regularly.

    IC: Captain Jav Boran
    Bridge- Fool?s Gamble

Vitch?s approach had caught the Captain off-guard as the Amani walked up and bowed to him, apologizing for any trouble he had caused while under medical treatment.

"Is there only THREE of us on board this damn thing that realizes WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW???" Kraid cried out suddenly.

Reaching back with his long, brown leather-sleeved arm, Jav motioned for Kraid to quiet down as he wrapped his other arm around Vitch and began to walk him back towards the lift tubes while forcing a smile on his face. ?Trouble? Why it was no trouble at all, my good Vitch. Without your added help back on Corulag, we might not have been able to get away from the Imperials and for that I am most thankful and most glad to have you on my ship. Now then, for the time being, if you could go back down and wait in the lounge or the bunk room or the galley until we take off, that would be most helpful. Alright, Vitch? Thanks much!?

Guiding the Amani in the lift tube, the Captain smiled again and waved as he pressed the controls, sending him back down to the ship?s main level. As soon as he was gone, the Duros sprinted back to the controls, where the impatient and anxious Kraid was waiting. ?Ok, I?ll be straight with you, Tristis and I thought we spotted two Sith warriors at the Docking Bay entrance when he was leaving. I figure they?re here after him, which means they could be coming to see us if we?ve been spotted with him. I?m trying to keep this out of the ears of the other crew to keep everyone from panicking, so if you could keep this between you and I, I?d appreciate it.?

Slowly in his mind he counted down the time, all the while feeling the human to his left grow more and more tense. They had passed the one minute thirty seconds minimum before launch nearly a minute ago, which left them with nearly two minutes thirty seconds before their departure time. Well, if they were gonna get in trouble, at least they could claim they had given Primus departure a minute or so more than they could have. Not that that would help them. Oh well, Station officials were easier to deal with than Sith?or at least, Station officials didn?t use lightsabers.

    ?Alright, Kraid, punch it!?

?Not even two minutes and I don?t like him all ready? Mused the boy, turning away from the strange man to run back to the bridge. He ran into the Amani and fell hard on his butt.

?Owie?? he muttered, sounding much like Azul. He then gulped and looked at the large alien, who was looking down at him questioningly.

?Oh?hi up there!? he chuckled nervously while blushing ?Thorry about that?please don?t tell my sister? I?ve had far too much candies and she?ll kill me if she finds out? he jumped up and grinned, bouncing from one foot to the next. ?Anyways, see ya ?round?gotta go hide until it wears off or risk Athul kicking my thore butt all the way back to Tatooine!?

With that the boy sidestepped, and rushed into a lift tube.

?All right? he stated as he walked into the bridge ?If anyone asks I have a hell of a sugar high?at least that?s what I told the Amani? he blew his blond fringe out of his eyes and took a deep breath ?Sir, that totally ?cool? new guy that came here with the crate? Well, it?s him who?s comming, his ship I think?anyhow, he won?t listen to me and says you can go down and talk to him?anyways he doesn?t give a kriff and he won?t stop...Oh he also said I'm not allowed to blast his fighter 'as it approaches'" he mimicked with a frown "If you do talk to him...can you ask him to stop scanning the ship's frequencies?!"

He stopped and took another deep breath, frowning at the palpable tension in the bridge.

?So?uh?should I like help around or get lost??

?Ok, I?ll be straight with you, Tristis and I thought we spotted two Sith warriors at the Docking Bay entrance when he was leaving."

    The crazy Jedi left? Great!

"I figure they?re here after him, which means they could be coming to see us if we?ve been spotted with him. I?m trying to keep this out of the ears of the other crew to keep everyone from panicking, so if you could keep this between you and I, I?d appreciate it.?

Wait, the crazy Jedi left? NO!!! Kraid's face turned pale, realizing that the zabrak would have been useful right now. "I'll shut up."

Time began to pass. Kraid felt like a sprinter, but instead of running in a race, his hands were poised to launch the ship right out of the station, and definitely not like a race, having some crazy Jedi chasing them in the meantime.

Rylee then entered and reported what he heard, although Kraid was barely paying attention. "Buckle up, kid!" Kraid let Rylee know when he was finished.

Finally the Captain said it. ?Alright, Kraid, punch it!?

The reaction time was miniscule. Kraid jammed the collective up and throttled forward at the same time, the ship quickly accelerating above the specified bay limits.

Suddenly, Kraid lurched forward. He would've smashed into the console if he wasn't buckled in. Bewildered, he started scanning all his displays. The ship was caught in the air, like it was trying to fly through an invisible net.

Kraid looked at the Captain. "Please tell me you're doing that," he said to him.

Hearing Ryelee approach and Kraid?s response, the Duros motioned the boy over to the comm. station. ?Yes, have a seat and buckle up. We?ll deal with our guest later. For now, we?re ready to??

Suddenly, as Kraid began to take them out, the ship slammed to a stop in mid-air. Not having been buckled in, Captain Jav slammed forward into the nav. console, the breath being knocked out of him.

Kraid looked at the Captain. "Please tell me you're doing that."

The Duros leaned back and shook his head as he tried to gather his breath once more. ?Nope, it?s not me, sadly. Keep at it, though. Maybe if we put enough strain on whatever?s holding us here, it?ll give way.?

Turning slightly eskew from Kraid, the Captain lowered his head and closed his eyes, hands cupped in his lap. Despite the tense situation, he was going oddly quiet.

?Owie?? he muttered for the second time in the day, pushing himself off the ground, a sharp pain corssed his head, making him whimper.

He sat on his knees and touched his eyebrow, looking back at his finger it was covered with blood. His mouth tasted of blood too.

?Today?s just not my day? muttered the boy pitifully, crawling into the seat and buckling up. He cleaned the blood from his mouth with the back of his hand, and closed his left eye to keep the blood from getting into his eye.

?Great? he thought, annoyed ?Now what??

?Uh?Am I missing something?? he asked, licking his lips.

He was unsure as to whether or not it was a tractor beam or if it was something else. He didn't dare risk turning off the Nueral Dampeners due to having seen atleast one Sith on Primus station since his arrival.

"Okay, Cap'n, but put on your karkin' seat harness... Cap'n?" Kraid was confused as he saw the Captain turn away from him and become eerily quiet. What the hell's he doing? Praying to a ball of lint??? No matter. There was only one thing Kraid could do and follow the Captain's advice: gun it.

He slammed the throttle forward, the ship shuddering and wobbling as power increased. He wrestled with the controls to keep the ship nosed towards the hangar exit, realizing that whatever was holding them back was also trying to move the ship around. Last thing he wanted to do was go smashing through the floor or ceiling of a space station.

Kraid slammed off the radio to Primus Departure. He didn't need to hear some angry controllers yelling at him at the moment.

"Rylee," Kraid shouted, "charge up the shields and weapons systems, then start punching in jump coordinates for, kriff, I don't know, the nearest isolated star around here!"

Zem's good ol' voice came over the comm. Kraid replied over the ship's comm: "Crew, man the turrets and strap yourselves in, something's holding us and if the turrets see it, blast it!!!"

Then an unknown voice came over the bridge freq. "Is that the kriffin' 'cool' dude??? Blast the station? What the hell is wrong with him??" But another ship might be useful. What was waiting outside the station? A squad of Imperial ships??

"Hey buddy," Kraid replied to the unknown voice, "don't know what we're dealing with here yet, but keep that ship of yours on standby!"

?Busted eyebrow, busted lip, pissy Boss, pissy sister, fight breaking in the last planet we were, runaway Sith, blaster fight breaking inside the ship, annoying icy dude, overly calm Captain, something holding the ship back?? mused Rye as he turned to follow Kraid?s orders. ?I should?ve stayed in bed today? groaned the boy to himself, wincing in pain.

Sinya managed to catch a few plates that drifted out of a cabneit and hold her balance, but not without her hips banging into a shelf and slightly discoloring her skin a bit. She grimaced from the slight shock of pain, then placed the plates in the sink filled with water. They'd be safer there, anyway. The water would sheild them from most everything, and was heavy enough to hold them down and hold them apart.

She looked at Azul, and at Wyl, a frown on her face. "Okay, whatever that was, we'd better figure out what to do about it..." before she could finish her thought she heard Kraid's voice over the intercomm system. He was yelling as loudly as ever.

She frowned again. She'd never manned a turret before, let alone any real defences on the ship. grabbing Azul's bowl and throwing it in the sink also, hopping Azul wouldn't mind. "Well, shall we go see where they need help?" she said to Azul, and everyone else there.

    IC: Captain Jav Boran
    Bridge- Fool?s Gamble

Trying to keep the distractions of the bridge out of his mind, the Captain sat there, focusing intently. He tried to keep his act from being viewd by Kraid and Ryelee, but it seemed not so successfully. Slowly, as not to break his concentration, he reached up and fastened the harness around his body before cupping his hands in his lap once more.

    ?Keep at iiiit??

Suddenly, the ship bolted forward, nearly colliding with one of the sides of the docking bay if not for Kraid?s quick action. Held in place, he had no doubt that things below would be jostling about once more. His eyes snapping open and his seat spinning around, Jav reached up to the controls and helped reign the ship in and get them heading for the bay?s exit. Grinning, he looked over at the engineer.

?See, I told you if you kept at it, eventually we?d get away.?

    Cargo Bay- Fool?s Gamble

Head over heals the droid flew back from the sudden lurching of the ship, impacting with the corner of the crate sitting central in the cargo bay. He quickly inspected himself for any damage, which thankfully was non-existant, but as he stood, he noticed some impact fractures on the crate and a small piece of it which had fallen off. Looking around to make sure that no one had seen him, he quickly picked up the piece that had fallen off and shoved it back into place before jumping back to his feet and scrabbling towards the bridge.

IC: Lord Ku Raiv and Lord Gorskett Naln
Docking Bay 8- Primus Station- Toydaria

The two Sith Lords slowly picked themselves up from the remains of the crate and the splattered food stuffs they had landed in. It had taken nearly all of their strength to hold onto the ship and keep it from going anyway as they slowly prepared to pull it back in, but a sudden, unexpected and unseen force surged against them and sent them flying backwards into the crate in which they now sat. Gorskett snarled, wiping a piece of candied fruit from his tusk.

?I did not sense him on the ship, but then again I cannot sense him on this station either,? Ku Raiv muttered as he stood to his feet.

?If he somehow discovered we were here, He could be hiding his presence. Master Umbras always said that he was most adept at that.?

?Either way, we must focus on that ship for now and apprehend it. If he is aboard, then we will have our quary. If not, the day is still not lost if this was indeed the ship from Corulag.?

The Mandallian Giant sneered gleefully. ?And we will succeed where Jessar and Zon have failed.? Reaching to a pouch on his hip, he drew a small commlink into his monsterous hand. ?Imperious, this is Lord Naln. Deploy a Predator squadron immediately and persue a ship on an exit vector from this station matching the following specifications??

OOC: Am I right in thinking a map of the ship's interior is posted here somewhere? Can someone link me?

    IC: Wyl Lorrka

Wyl fell face down against the deck as the ship broke free of whatever was holding it and sailed smoothly into space, leaving Primus station behind. He stood, wiping blood from his newly busted lip off of his chin, and continued walking towards the lounge. He staggered in, looking about at the people inside, and began to shout.

"I payed this ship to get me to Tatooine safely, and now no one will even let me know what the KRIFF we're running from that's putting as all in danger! Can someone please tell me just what the HELL is going on?!"

Then he stumbled into a wall, as he wasn't strapped into any crash webbing.

    Colonel Artemis Z.M. Veers

    Lounge, Fool's Gamble

Before the sentence was even finished, Veers motioned for two of his stormtroopers to head for the gunwells while he and Womprat headed elsewhere in the ship. "Erik, tend to any injuries," he told Womprat who had nothing else to do but exercise his talent in medicine.

"What about you?" the stormtrooper asked.

"I'll be on the bridge." Veers watched briefly as his stormtroopers charged down the corridor only to be thrown back with a second lurch of the ship. Veers had held onto a hand rail along the wall, ready for such an eventuality and had no problems keeping himself up right. His men did not waste time getting back to their feet and shaking off the impact before disappearing into the gunwells and the galley.

The Colonel made his way toward the bridge.

"Is anyone badly hurt?" Womprat asked everyone in the lounge but only received an exasperated answer from the new passenger. "I'm certain the Capt'n will explain later but unless any of you have any injuries, I'm gonna go see who does?"

    IC: Juren Varuel

As Juren studyied the turret in silence, he was surprised when the ship's lurch sent him falling out of the chair and into the wall. Blinking in surprise, Juren got up silently and brushed the hair out of his eyes. Something had gone wrong at the bridge, he supposed. He couldn't imagine it was much more than a technical blunder, so he calmly returned to the gun.

He admired the controls for a second, looking over what went where, and what he would have to do in case of an attack. As he did this, the ship shook in a tremor once more and Juren fell once more to the ground, landing on his face instead of impacting with the wall. The man got up awkwardly from the ground and looked all about. Confused, he stood up and stumbled a bit, dizzy from the impacts to the ground, a headache emerging. As he did this, he fell over the small ladder, with a yell of surprise, and landed straight on the ground. He stood up, and felt blood. His nose was bleeding from the impacts. Juren sighed out of discontent, and leaned his head against the wall. A throbbing headache went through his mind as he sat there. He waited until the bleeding was minimal before getting up once more. The ship shot forward for the final time, sending Juren to his face once more.

...And he just sat there on the floor, too annoyed to get up. His head pounded, and he felt just like sleeping. Blood now escaped from his mouth. All four times he had hit rather hardly against the ground, the fall over the ladder bringing the most pain. Must look awkward, Juren thought, having blood on you.

The man stood up shakily. He looked back at the ladder...the fall must've been thrice his height or so. He didn't feel like going back to the turret now, so he resigned himself to going to the crew lounge. He didn't feel hungry...he rarely ever ate, and only then in small amounts. Living on the street had made him a small eater, but perhaps it was better so.

Juren walked to the crew lounge, and took a seat at an empty table, laid his head down, and began to rest.
