Can't wait for this game, personally. It was inevitable that Lego would broaden their market, especially after the success of Star Wars Lego 1 & 2. Anyone else jizzed up about this game? [face_thinking]

No thanks, myself, if it's as kiddo-oriented as Lego SW is. That's not a Batman thing. :p

Notice how the article said "The First Two Lego Star Wars games?" Could this be a hint of more Lego Star Wars to come, or am I reading to much into the article?

A Lego game franchise sounds so tempting. If they can pull it off, brilliant. :D

However, I'm struggling to remember when there was even any batman lego sets to begin with?

The Batman ones came out within the last year or two. Tempting, if only to have a Joker minifig to terrorize Legoland City/Town... [face_devil]

I'd kill for a SW game that focused on the Legoland Space saga- from Futuron, Blacktron and Space Police to M-Tron, Ice Planet, Unitron, Spyrius and Exploriens.

It hasn't even been officially announced yet. No screenshots, no media. I have no doubt it will 'look good', but I'm not sure if you're implying you've seen visuals from the game.
As T2Q mentions, the line's only a year old. lookiee here.

I don't like the stylized approach to the game's look, it's too kiddie. ;)

Ah, thanks jp, Quest. I never saw those in stores here. Maybe I just missed it, I don't know.

The Lego Joker looks hilarious! (good)

WTH are you talking about? Sounds like Transformers.

Lego Batman sounds fun for a week-long rental at least. The SW ones were fun, just really easy without much replay value. $50+ price tag - no. Rent and play till you are done - yes.

Can they even turn Batman into any sort of game? I mean Batman Begins really does not give you a whole slew of minions for you to beat up and whatnot. Heck, if the bad guys had that many underlings at their disposal, they could just take over the city without resorting to weirdo plots.

    Go here

    1. Dig the groovy music.

    2. Looks to be VERY loosly based on the Tim Burton/Joel Schumacher continuity. VERY.

    3. Obviously, before someone says it, this is a tie in, not a demo of the game. It's for kids.

I'd be up for playing anything Lego style.

Too bad they'll never make a Lego GTA..
