Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy

This game is looking brilliant, just like the first. Anyone else played the demo? I got it today in the PS2 magazine. You get to do a Mos Eisley level and it's awesome. The graphics are better this time, making Tatooine look splendid. This time you can ride ships, for example, in the demo level you can have a go on Luke's Landspeeder. There's plenty of other add ons like this aswell.

Downloaded the demo, and nicked the SFX for TENCLO

 

Haven't played the demo but I might look for the magazine next time I am in WH Smiths. I'd already planned on getting the game for PS2 though - I loved the first one.

 

So, anyone else getting this?

EDIT: If you go here you can watch an interview with one of main guys from LucasArts, where he talks a lot about the game and shows a couple of levels from ROTJ. You have to skip to about 35-40 mins into the programme to find it.

 

PC Zone magazine has a few pages on it this month.




There has been mroe go into it and apparently theres going to be an area that just open for arsing about in the game iirc from the article.




I may load up my version of Ep 1-3 tonight and have another dabble. Either that or progress further on metroid

 

Looking forward to this, will get on my PSP hopefully first, then later PS2.

This'll be a PC purchase (especially as I'm now on a dual core 2.8 processor) my last set up was beginning to strain and then died, £200 I don't have had to be spent last week .

 

I'll be going for the PS2 version when it's out. I normally don't game on the PC since the few games I have tried in the past have given me problems (mostly graphics). I really don't do enough gaming to justify a PSP either. (And I haven't seen anything for it that I wanted to buy).

 

PS2 for me aswell.

Just the game for me, I for one aren't getting the Original Original films.

What parts of the movies is everyone looking forward to playing? For me, the Death Star attack, Battle of Hoth, Jabba's Palace and Endor Speeder Chase.

 

Rambles - I get for PSP so I can travel with it, I'll get that first because I use the PSP more atm. I'll get for PS2 so that my bro or cousin can play on TV screen (I won't get for PC as there is no online multiplayer version). I am sure I read there are unlockables on PSP when you link to a PS2. I'm not getting both together, and I am holding back on the new DVDs because I'm not in any hurry. Will just keep looking around for when they are reduced in price.

I am not sure, but since PSP is portable version, it will be a little cut down, but for the mo I get more chance to go on (when I am travelling) that than getting the PS2 out.

 

Tim, remember that the DVDs are for a limited period only, I believe 3 months, then they're gone again. They probably won't have a cheap period.

Just got an email from Play.com:

May get it by Saturday if i'm lucky! Probably Monday though.

 

I saw an ad for the game on Cartoon Network this morning - it looks good! I pre-ordered it and the DVDs from Amazon UK to get the discounts.

 

Got mine in the post today wahoo! It's great, just like the first, but with longer and slightly more difficult levels. You have to use your brain more this time! The Jundland Wastes level is great.

The speeder bike level is great isn't it? And Jabba's Sail Barge, infact, all the levels i've played so far are fantastic, fun and even challenging in places (i'll admit it, i've actually got stuck a few times! ).

I'm enjoying this game more than I remember enjoying the first one last year!

 

I get paid on Monday so I think I'll pick this up for my DS
