1) This film came out 4 years after Stripes.
2) Think foreign films.

This is weird. I feel as if I should know quote #2 for today. I know I have heard that line before and I want to say that Christopher Lee uttered it in a film, but I am lost as to the exact details.

 

Sorry, it wasn't Christopher Lee, but you're on the right track as far as genre is concerned! Keep trying...(In fact, the first and second quotes are from films in the same genre!)
For the life of me, I cannot even begin to guess what yours was. Guessing Stripes was just a blind stab in the dark. I think I need another hint or two...

Oh! I almost forget...My quote for 9/7/05:
4) "Your wife appears to be stronger than we'd imagined...somewhat more resourceful. She seems to have got the better of you!"
(HINT: same genre as my first and second quotes!)

You're correct about Wall Street, and you were really, really close with the other two, but not quite there! Who else can guess those other quotes?

Nope. Predates that movie by about a decade. Another line, longer this time:

I am somewhat afraid that if I give too many hints, it will be too easy to guess, but here goes:

1) 4 years after Stripes came out means this film was released in 1985.
2) Don't just think foreign films, think Japanese films. Better yet, think of the Japanese version of the "Spaghetti Western."

 

Evil Dead III. I don't know the character name because I only watched the scene of the skeleton army attacking the castle.
