Yes, and there's no such thing as a "fallen" kingdom in biology. Nor is there a "risen" one, for that matter, because not only is there no way to measure power differentials, it's not even a meaningful inquiry in this context. While they might appreciate the pun, this is quite clearly not what they meant. Never mind that anything that qualifies as a character in any of these films all falls under exactly the same kingdom.

The subtitle "The Fallen Kingdom" could also be a sign that a certain fan-favorite is going to bite it.





Given that the estimated lifespan of a Tyrannnosaurus was about 30 years, and Rexy is going to be coming back for this movie, which takes place 25 years after the first movie, where Rexy was already a full-grown adult....barring some talk of how her natural lifespan was extended by giving her Galapagos Tortoise DNA (which would also explain the pebbly skin and lack of feathers even on Junior in TLW), she's on borrowed time, especially after the mauling she took in JW.

Well obviously we saw the beginnings of weaponized dinos In Jurassic World but I think they did it right not dinos holding machine guns but more like Dolphins that search for bombs under the ocean and like service dogs. Are Trained raptors much different then thinking you can tame a Lion, Tiger, or a Grizzly bear? we all know how that usually turns out. If my theory Is true we never see Weaponized dinos they escape before they can be fully Trained. I am sure those kids underwear are not a good interpretation of the movie or might be a fake?
J.A. Bayona Is Directing Fallen Kingdome he has some really good movies on his resume, The Orphanage, The Impossible, and A Monster Calls they are all great movies! I am sure Bayona will hit a huge grand slam out of the park!

 

From what I've heard, it's actually from a cancelled Hasbro toy line from before they got the licensed pulled by Universal, but you never do know.

 

well weren't INGEN supposed to be creating Hybrid Miniature I-REX's how would raptors fit in here? I am getting all of this from the first JW Movie?

Did you guys know Stan Winston Studios isn't doing the Animatronics for this one, Neil Scanlon Is doing the Animatronics for Fallen Kingdome that makes me super excited he has done a great Job with Star Wars so far!

 

But Stan Winston Studios IS Jurrasic Park...

were you not impressed with the Animatronics in TFA and RO and so far what we can tell of TLJ?

 

True they weren;'t bad, but it just seems a shame - I have the making of The Lost World Book somewhere, and the models looked so real - and this was in the 90s!

 

I mean I absolutely loved Jurassic World! It was my second favorite movie of 2015 behind TFA! but If critics had one complaint and it is justified there weren't enough Animatronics in JW that being said I thought this shot was an Animatronic at first,

the head anyway I thought was Animatronic this shot is not really good HD It is a bad example of the shot,

to me when I first saw stills of these from the Teaser I thought for sure they were Animatronics just goes to show how good CGI Is getting! but it will be nice to hopefully see more Animatronics in JW2 like there were in TFA and RO I wont put TLJ In this class till I see the film...
and IMHO JW was way better then JP3 I think a lot of JP Fans would like to forget JP3 actually ever existed justifiably so. Probably the only Joe Johnston film I don't like, I loved The Rocketeer, Jumanji, and Captain America The First Avenger!

Yes, it's a volcanic eruption. Beautiful looking trailer, colour pallete is very Lost World which I'm excited about.

 

Stan Winston Studios no longer exists, except as the Stan Winston School of Character Design.

After his death in 2008, the studios effectively ceased to exist. A group of former SW Studios supervisors went on to create their own effects house, Legacy Effects.
Legacy did the creature work for JW and all of the MCU films released after The Incredible Hulk.
