Count Dooku

 

In a straight lightsaber fight, Vader wins (Anakin beat Dooku) but Vader has one weakness we saw: force lightning. And Dooku can use that. So, Vader wins a lightsaber battle, but if Dooku can hit him with lightning, Dooku would win.

Ahsoka (TCW)
vs Leia (TFA)

Use imagination on Leia's skills.

 

Vader, his Djem So style is a bad match up for Dooku's Makashi.


Windu

Grievous

 

If I hadn't seen TFA and was going by what I knew about Leia from ROTJ (using TFA's time frame) then Leia should win this one.

Perhaps we still might see Leia doing jedi stuff in Episode 8.

So I'll go with Leia unless Episode 8 shows she can't do jedi stuff.

EDIT: For the other battle I go Mace over Grievous easily. If Obi-Wan can beat Grievous Mace surely can.

Until I see Luke doing some amazing things I gotta go with Sidious.

Jango and Boba are grossly overrated. All I saw from them was a lot of ineptitude.

Kylo wins that one in a laugher.



AOTC Anakin

TFA Rey

 

AOTC Anakin should easily win unless Rey closes her eyes and whispers "force" or something.

Battle of old mentors:


Yoda (ESB)

vs


Obi-Wan (ANH) and Qui Gon (TPM)

 

Well, I am not certain Yoda has his lightsaber anymore. He could probably defeat them by use of the Force alone, but it will not be a stomp.

Luke (ANH) vs. Finn
This one is based on a lot of conjecture because Luke only ever used his lightsaber in ANH to deflect laser bolts. Do you guys think Finn's instinct is enough to beat Luke, or will Luke's developing force abilities give him an edge in using a lightsaber?

 

As a force sensitive Luke wins easily.

Zett is more skilled with a lightsaber, but I gotta side with Luke's stronger force ability.

ROTS Anakin

AOTC Anakin and TPM (the end) Anakin

 

ROTS Anakin without much trouble. He's far superior to the AOTC or TPM versions of himself.

TR-8R for sure! Human vs Robot, He looked pretty skilled against Finn.




Dooku

RotS Obi Wan and Qui-Gon

 

I really want to go with RotS Obi Wan and Qui-Gon but I just can't since Dooku flat out owns Obi-Wan every time he sees him. If Dooku takes Obi-Wan out of the fight right away (like he usually does) Qui Gon can't handle Dooku 1 on 1 so Dooku would end up killing Qui Gon, then eventually Obi-Wan.

Darth Vader (ANH)

 

Han vs. Tauntaun round #2. That Tauntaun never had a chance, being unarmed and freezing and all. Give him a couple sabers, some warmers, and we've got a real Han vs. Tauntaun-Grievous level fight (in the snow) on our hands now.

 

Darth Vader wins. In RoTS, Anakin killed Dooku, who I'd put on par with Mace. I don't think Anakin has gotten worse in the intervening years, or has he?..


Darth Vader (ANH)

Anakin Skywalker (ROTS)

 

Darth Vader in ANH has the experience, Anakin has the speed and extra limbs Plus you have Lucas saying that Vader was diminished after Mustafar.

This is kind of like asking who would win between Obi-Wan (ROTS) vs Obi-Wan (ANH). In ROTS Obi-Wan is more physically capable but in ANH he has more experience. I think most of us would pick Obi-Wan in ROTS to win that one. For that reason I'm going with Anakin in ROTS.

Finally I get to pick my favorite character to win a duel, do I'll go with Qui-Gon and his padawan due to their greater experience.

I'll go with the ESB battle between the light and dark sides:

Yoda, Obi-Wan(if he survived ANH), and Luke

Sidious and Vader

 

I'll go with Sideous and Vader, I think Obi-Wan and Luke would be pretty easy to dispatch, then Vader and Sideous would overwhelm Yoda.





Shaak Ti

Don't know a lot about Shaak Ti but she is a jedi master with a lifetime of experience while Ren still needs to "complete his training" so I'm gonna go with Shaak Ti.

Rancor without a doubt, that thing is just pure Beast, would eff up those Squid things no problemo!

While Chewie can tear people's arms off, the wampa is simply bigger and from the looks of it, stronger. So I'll go with the wampa although I don't rule Chewie out as he likely has superior intelligence.

The Wound is on the wrong side! Though the Pic makes me chuckle everytime.
a Draw! I know 1 Finn got a lucky shot off, but I think Kylo wouldn't mess around this time, he could Force push one flying, freeze one in place, beat the remaining 1 with a lightsabre then finish the other 2 off. Then finish bleeding out himself



Sidious

Maul and Vader

 

Vader has a critical weakness against Sidious that was exposed in ROTJ. Lightning. So when the fight starts Sidious gives Vader a heavy dose of lightning and fries his suit, then it's Sidious vs Maul and we know that Sidious wins that one.

So...Sidious wins. Although Maul and pre-suit Vader or Dooku would be a tougher matchup for Sidious as they don't have the critical lightning weakness.

Non-lightsaber no weapon hand to hand fight...
