Some good points, Maverick. But then, my entries are going to have to be heavily re-writtain based on the new info from TEGTC and BF#1:TFTS, and re-examined each time a new Fett book comes out.

Here's something to note when adding the AotC books into TimeTales. Extremely minor spoilers from the novelization and Jango Fett : Bounty Hunter...

    ****SPOILERS****

JF : BH shows Boba piloting Slave I on Kamino. Jango teaches him how to use the ship's weapons to destroy a relay tower. Apparently the next several scenes jump ahead in time, because...

In the novelization, Jango mentions to Boba that it had been "months" since he let him fly the ship.

I have 4 days off, and have been working on Timetales, a luxury I haven't had the chance to do for a while... I have been working with all the Episode II material.

I have some conjecture that I would like to get everyone's opinion on.

I have placed the year of birth of Jango Fett to be -63 BSW4, given the age of the actor, Temuera Morrison.

I have also created this entry, based off info from the Visual Dictionary:

    "-54 BSW4

After the murder of his parents, Jango Fett was adopted and raised by the legendary Mandalorian warrior army, a mercenary group who earned a reputation as the most formidable supercommandoes in the galaxy. The Jedi destroyed this dangerous force, but Fett survived and continues to wear the armoured, weapon-filled uniform that helped make the Mandalorians a dreaded name.
Conjecture based upon ?Episode II: Visual Dictionary?."

The Visual Dictionery does not give any dated info as to when Jango is adopted by the Mandalorians, so I thought I would have it when Jango is 9 years old. This would be a great symbolism, great comparison to the lives lead by Anakin / Jango at the same age, who are taken into care by different 'warrior' groups. Until this date is solidly confirmed, I think that this is cool conjecture - what do you other experts think?

Open Seasons probably explains all that, and the first issue comes very soon.

I think it's a good post, but'd I'd personally make all age conjecture rather vague to be on the safe side. perhaps say something like his age was 'estimated' to be such and such...

Yeah, I'd personally wait until wednsday when Jango Fett: Open Seasons # 1 comes out. It's sure to shed light on the above events, and will definately lock down some dates for you.

I think I may have mentioned this before, and it's kinda off-topic, but just in case...

Could you guys PLEASE make a version of the .doc file that's split up into multiple documents, like one for each section? My computer's not ANCIENT, but it's not very fast either, and it just can't handle a document that big. I try to scroll down and the whole system slows down to a snail's crawl. I absolutely love what you guys are going, and I don't want to miss out on it...the web version's kinda out of date. If that's too much trouble, could somebody out there maybe split it up and e-mail the zip to me? I'd really appreciate it...thanks.

Well, the NEG supports the nimbanel agent at orleon theory.

"Jabba spent the next three years nursing a vendetta against Solo, offering a fortune for his head. Jabba's Agents pinned down the fugitive Correllian on Orleon, but he escaped."

The article even implies that the real jabba never let up on the warrant for han.

That's pretty cool, Val. Is that the Essential Cronalogy, or the new Guide to Characters?

That's pretty cool. I'm thinking that Jabba didn't call off the bounty, but just suspended it, to give Han a chance to work off the debt. Jabba was probably pretty mad when Han gave most of a large load of spice away on Rion, and finding Crimson Jack's pirate ship was most likely the last straw.

or Perhaps, the nimbanel agent probably didn't go and pay off jabba(after he told han the debt was canceled) from his personal coffers right away to get jabba to truly call off the debt. When he later saw that jabba's star destroyer had been destroyed he decided it's all off, he wasn't going to pay jabba in han's behalf and what he said was his way of saying that warrant was still in effect.

Perhaps, but given the fact that Han's running spice for Jabba in CSW, I'd say that Jabba himself suspended the debt. (I like to keep the Jabba/Nimbanel emissary confusion down to one comic.)

ratmankey has a point. I think the rest of the on-line version should be updated ASAP, if only for the reason that Timetales will be far too large as a download file at some point. :)

    Oh well here goes...

I have just created a UR compendium and I was wondering if somehow it could be put on timetales as one of those extra thingies?

Well the nimbanel/emissary agent has scenes in 3 comics actually. Perhaps he said what he said because he intended to make sure the warrent was reissued. So he went back to the real jabba and explained everything that happened in such a way that it made Jabba extremly angry so he would reissue it.

I doubt Jabba needed much encouragement. :)

    So, when's the next update?

Ok, I've been re-reading the Jedi Apprentice series of books, and I've found that The Stark Hyperspace War comics can't go right after The Dark Rival, (where TimeTales currently has them,) because The Hidden Past picks up right where that book leaves off. The comic series will have to go after The Day of Reckoning.

Guys, I've gotta ask -- which do you want? I've been working as much as I can, but I simply haven't had enough time to include all the new stuff that's poured in this last week. Would you prefer that I

    a) Upload the .doc file of Timetales tomorrow with whatever I can squeeze into it by then, or

    b) Hold off a week so I can get it all in?

I agree, I can wait a week. No reason to rush it.
