its from this top notch takedown article of megan mcardle, whose worthless writing i used to suffer through back when i read The Atlantic, before Hitchens died and the balance of quality of that publication tipped squarely into the **** camp. the whole articles monstrously entertaining and cathartic. all right thinking people should read it in its entirely.
