Looking for a plan drawing of Padme's Coruscant apartment

Hi all,

First post for me outside of The Saga fanfic forum.

I'm curious as to the layout of Padme's apartment on Coruscant and was wondering if there are any layout or plan images about. I've tried doing a look myself - including the Wookiepedia site - but haven't found anything as yet.

Would anyone be able to help me out with this?

I take it that's a no then as to there being a plan of Padme's apartment/Naboo embassy being available.

You know what, I've seen it before. Online too.... I'll have a look about, but don't get your hopes up.

Edit: Wait, it wasn't online.... I have a picture of it in a book.... I'll take a picture of it when I get my camera out of the car later. There's a few other pics you may find interesting too. I'll keep you posted.

What book BTW if you don't mind my asking? A mate of mine has quite a substantial collection of SW books so he may have it. If so it'll save the trouble of trying to find it online or someone like yourself photo'ing it for me.

Well, there's 'Sculpting a Galaxy' by Lorn Peterson. It has a picture of the complete miniature. There also might be a map in DK's 'Inside the worlds of AOTC or ROTS' books.


But I think I know how it goes anyway.

Ok, step out of the elevator, your facing a window, walk a little, turn to your right and you will enter the antechamber. Walk further and you will enter the main sitting room (where Obi Wan-Anakin-Padme-Typho-Dorme have their conversation in AOTC, and where most of the main action in AOTC and ROTS happen). There is two couches facing each other, then there's chairs on either side of each window, and to the left hand side of the room from the entrance is the window door that opens and leads out to a small balcony (where Padme and Typho look out in AOTC, Where OBi and Ani talk about Anakin's mother, where Anakin and Padme have their romantic conversation in ROTS).

Walk further, and the room divides into two at the end, one leading to a door, the other leading to another door. The left hand door leads to Padme's bedroom. We don't know what the other leads to through. Maybe where Padme's handmaidens and guests sleep or maybe the kitchen, fresher, etc.

Now, if you choose to go left into Padme's bedroom, you will walk around an alcove with a window (where Anakin looks out of, while waiting for Padme while she is giving Jar Jar instructions in AOTC.) Walk further and you were enter the bedroom proper. Inside is the bed, a few more chairs, and a few panels windows. The bed has two sheets. One silky comforter, and a smaller sheet underneath. There's a long big headrest which covers the length of the bed which acts as the pillow (except in ROTS htye get real pillows which are on top of this). Walk to the right of the bedroom and there is the closet. Walk past the closet (ROTS only) and it leads to the Verandah, and you know only need to pause the wide shots of it in ROTS to study it.
