Lord of the Rings Font

Does anybody have or know where I can find the font that they used for the Lord of the Rings Logo? It was also used at the beginning of FOTR and all the posters.

 

I forget where I got it, but the font's called "Ringbearer", try Google. It's not the original font that the film used, since that was all custom-made, but it's designed off of that font, so it looks identical. The letters are quite stylized, though, since it was made specifically for LOTR, so it doesn't really look that good unless you're typing the words "Lord of the Rings" or "The Two Towers" or some such.

I have a font called Tolkien on my computer, i think that might be it.

 

Well actually, the font is just the most overused font in the movie industry, Trajan (obviously cut up and slightly modified in a graphics program).

If you ever want to get into the movie logo designing business the only font you need is Trajan! It's the font used on the Episode I and II logos (so most of you will already have the font), plus a whole heap more, eg. The Mummy movies, A Beautiful Mind and Minority Report. There used to be a collage on the net of a whole heap of Trajan movie logos but it no longer exists online.
