WHAT ON EARTH?!?!?!?!

There's a band of muderous kids roaming the jungle? Is this why Walt was taken away? Does it mean that Aaron will be taken away when he's old enough? Is one of those kids the crazy french lady's?

Nice to see Jin learning more English.

Also, if what I think is gonna happen is gonna happen in the next episode, then we're all in for a doozy.

A friend of mine sent me this. It's some random footage we haven't seen, but it doesn't make sense so I'm not sure if it can be considered spoilerish.

But it's AMAZING!!!!! With the footage it's the weird whispers slowed down or something so you can hear what they say. It's bad quality so you have to turn the volume up.

This thread has got buried, so just wondering, what do you guys think of season 2 so far?

I've seen it all and it has a fantastic finale that answers some questions (but brings up even more!), so keep watching!

 

I like it, especially the episode that's on tonight.

im not too sure about lockie, i think somethings up. glad the lad got baptised and...i dunno, the "next on lost" looked suitably thrilling.

 

This episode seemed poor and pointless
Fine to find out more about Charlie, but the storyline didn't seem necessary


But so far the series has been good.
Glad to see what the big forest monster looks like



My opinion on Locke is divided.
Perhaps he has been brainwashed by The Others or something. He seems very against doing anything about them

 

I am hooked on the season 2 of Lost, been excellent so far, and yeah, things are definitely shifting.

Season 2 part 1 dvd (episodes 1-12 I believe) is out 17 July - next week!

 

Well, we're all in agreeance that soemthing is up with Locke.


When Charlie brought up what Locke said back in season one about the island testing them, Locke just dismissed it. Is Locke now losing that faith of his which made him such an engaging character?

One person I know said that his faith is shattered because he no longer has a mission now that the hatch is open.

Locke has become more of a jerk lately and the only time in the past couple of episodes where we've seen him back on good old bizzare Locke form is when he was teasing Sawyer about his name last week. Also, even though he kept bringing Charlie down last night he still didn't show those statues to Claire when he could have. Locke is still an enigma, but Eko is currently more interesting.

i cant call locke. i think he's 100% good, or did. until recently. but maybe thats what im supposed to think and he really is good and all a ploy. he does seem to be losing that faith though, i noticed the bit too when charlie was talking about tests and locke dismissed it.

next episode looks pretty action packed

i still reckon claire/charlie is a deffo though

 

Can't be sure of that now, after what Charlie did to Sun. If they ever find out nobody on that island will go near Charlie ever again.

Especially as I heard a rumour that Sun is PREGNANT!! Woohoo because she's one of my fav female characters, but this does make me angry at Charlie, even though he didn't know.
*END SPOILER*

I want to feel sympathetic for Charlie because:
1. He's still suffering from withdrawl. Drug addiction is as much a psycological problem as a bodily problem and so it is possible that the psycological effects of drugs withdrawl that made him unstable and made him sleepwalk.
2. He's just had a ton of temptation dangled in front of him, of course he's gonna be a bit off
3. He was such a sweet character last season, except for a few moments when he was a jerk to Hurley
4. He loves Aaron like he was his own son. And now he may never get to be with him again
5. He cares about Claire SO much, as evidenced by the fact that he gave the baby back as soon as she said "You're hurting me Charlie"
6. Other than Eko, nobody really bothered letting Charlie explain his actions.

But:
1. Kidnapping the baby wasn't the best way to go
2. WHAT HE DID TO SUN!!!(I'm not letting that one go)
3. Many people on the Channel4 forum argue that Charlie is a weak character who should just get over his whole "little boy lost" thing because it's all his own fault. (I don't agree with this, and most of those people were Locke fans)
4. This all may have totally screwed up his chances of being happy with Claire.

I'm very conflicted, Charlie has always been a fav character of mine.

 

That Charlie episode is generally considered the worst of the first two seasons, so don't worry

 

I dunno, personally I found the episode with Jack a few weeks back really weak. Something about the Jackisodes just don't grab me.

Oh man, does anyone here know about the LOST Experince? Basically it's this game trying to find out all the secrets of the Hanso foundation in the show. Total conspiricy theory fun.

Anyway there's this girl named Rachel Blake who's doing this investigation and is finding out all this stuff and hides the videos she makes around the various LOST sites on the net(I cheat and wait till someone's posted a direct link to it on the channel four lost blog)

As for tonights episode, great. The Sayid stuff is always good and this is the first time he tortures someone I believe, he said "I will never do that again". And the guy in the truck with the photo was Kate's dad if I'm not mistaken.

I'm convinced that this new guy is an other. If the gang find a balloon in the jungle in the next few week, fine, but till then I'm gonna be convinced.


The real question tonight is the Egyptian Hiroglyphs on the clock.
I could only make out one of them clearly, a bird(eagle) on some kind of stand, a rectangle maybe. If anyone finds a screencap of it post it and I'll try to tranlate.

Those symbols are certainly odd
Seems that perhaps the key to cracking Lost is in the ancient philosophies and languages

Iching from China, Dharma (meaning Fate) from India, and now Heiroglyphes from Egypt


They're all clues I think



Odd also that pressing execute still reset the timer even when it got to 0, which the tape said would be too late

I don't really like the idea of getting series on DVD, most are shown so much on TV anyway



I'll just watch it on TV, and maybe get the DVD in a few years when I've forgotten what happened.....if anything does actually happen

 

For those watching on C4, you will love tomorrow's episode I think. Can't wait for the E4 one. This season, whilst taking a different direction to last year's, has to be some of the most enjoyable TV I have watched for a while

 

I found a couple on the 4th disc last night. On the main menu, go down to the second option (may be the third actually) and press left, the cursor will go to the left of the menu, and when you click it, there's a little scene with Hurley and Rose. Then go onto the 'flashbacks' menu and press left on the first one. This easter egg is just a little clip of Ana Lucia and co chasing that Hen around. Neither of these are very exciting I must say!

 

I'll try and check them out once I have the DVD back from my brother lol.
