    [image=http://www.theforce.net/2010/ltotspurgatory.jpg]

The mighty Sith dynasty founded on the planet Kesh by the survivors of the shipwrecked Omen has endured for a thousand years?and so has the merciless Sith code, which prizes power above all else. Lady Orielle Kitai enjoys power as the scion of a noble family and member of the elite Sith Sabers. But Lillia Venn, as reigning Grand Lord of the Sith, possesses absolute power?and is determined to keep it.

When a failed regicide sparks a political?and literal?bloodbath, and suspicion falls on Orielle, she is swiftly condemned to slavery by the ruthless Grand Lord Venn. But seeing the cunning power play for what it is, Orielle vows to strike back. And at the ramshackle home of a poor dirt farmer with an astounding secret, she discovers the means to make her vengeance a devastating reality.

This going to be Legend- wait for it- Dary!!

I Like JJM's work (more then the novels, at least his unlikeable characters are meant to be unlikeable). Should be really good. So Zor what do you think are the odds of a Goodvalors, restaurant ship crashing on the planet. :D

Considering influx has our first female Supreme Chancellor, it seems JJM is on a role of these firsts.

No! Noooooo! Not the agricultural terraces! They're too young to die! They were only planted last month!

There's a lot about this story that's unexpected, I think. Just a caution -- this is one where it really will pay to avoid the spoilers.

    Crashing?!

Why, my good sir, I'll have you know it's already crashed. A Sith's gotta eat. What do you think they've been living off all this time? Keshiri steaks? A GoodValor's transport quite obviously had a hyperspace malfunction and fell into a wormhole causing it to crash on Kesh before the Lost Tribe even got there. [face_shame_on_you]

As the co-marketing director, I must inform you that Mobile-GoodValors don't crash, EVER.

    They just....hover-down, REAL-nice and easy.

    As for being stranded? NOPE.
If sales are booming, they've been told to stay awhile.

    For a thousand years, even.

Quite interesting, although the cliffhanger ending doesn't hide the fact how this must eventually end.

Happens in 3960 BBY, ties to KOTOR comic through a surviving member of the Jedi Covenant.

The links are now up at the official site and Random House's Suvudu. I expect we'll see the Kindle, Sony, and Barnes & Noble links shortly.

I also finally have notes up for Paragon and Savior. Part 5 notes -- well, I'll try for later this week. One thousand-year jump is enough...

Even if the obvious ending happens, I'm sure that JJM will make it a great story. I like the tie in to the KOTOR comics. :)

Good read - I just wish they were longer and came out quickly. :p

Another great addition to this awesome series. =D= I'm as hooked on these new characters as I was with Yaru Korsin and the like. JJM definitely has a knack at writing Sith really well, as well as setting things into motion quickly without making things seemed rushed. I also like the choice of title, it really fits here well, although admittedly at first the P/S naming scheme looked kinda corny, as long as the title actually mean something I will be satiated.

Agreed, but that probably has to do with the big release gaps between the FOTJ books.

    Great story.

Normally, the very idea of a Sith Jedi romance would have me rolling my eyes, but this really works.

I especially like the constant, subtle similarities between the two: their backstories, their motivations, their actions...

I also like how the Grand Lord was less of a lame duck than everyone thought.
