I still hold the opinion that the Kaminin (Kaminoian?) clones didn't have sex. Considering the fact they are created solely for the purpouse of fighting, have been augmented so they live for combat, and due to the nasty complications that could arise from the....distraction of desire of sexual relations, I don't think they had the means or the mind.

In other words, the flesh is incapable and the mind is unwilling.

Asajj is a Rattataki. According to the Star Wars Unofficial Encyclopedia:

this race of near-humans, characterized by their thin bodies and pasty-white skin, was native to the remote world of Rattatak.

It did not mention it, but I am pretty sure they are all bald.

So they are a subspecies of human.

Just pointing out that Han didn't say he loved Leia until RotJ. Yet we know he loved her in ESB.

And what would she have to do to prove it? Be all over Luke saying she loved him? Completely out of her character.

Mara looked at the Jedi woman in front of her, who had apeared out of nowhere and helped her against these pirate's attack. Luke's academy was realy turning them out. She took a long look at the woman which used form fitting dark clothes. She was slightly taller than Mara, with broad shoulders, muscled arms and somewhat thin hips, but definetely with a very female overall quality to her. She was quite well endowed and had the cuttest tushie. Dark blond hair fell to her shoulders, she had the bluest eyes and-

"Eeeeek!" Mara backed alway in shock. It couldn't be. It was impossible! She took a look at the woman's lightsaber. "LUKE?!?!"

"I did it all for you Mara. I love you so much. Maybe this way you'll see the truth of our love!" 'Luke' tossed his/her(?) hair and preened. "But I'm not Luke anymore. Call me Luka."

"You freak! What made you think that I- How did you get such a fine job, anyway?"

Luka scufled her feet and sniffed. "Lando knew of a Geonosian cloner working illegaly in the Clufiodol cluster. A true master of the art. I'm completely female now, in shape and feelings. I can even have kids!"

Mara made an horrified face and Luka began to sob.

"I even take estrogen shots regularly! Why can't you see we are destined to be togheter?" She began to cry in earnest.

Mara's heart softened. She took Luka's big hands on her own. "Luka, you shouldn't take anymore estrogen shots. You really don't need them. You were always so gentle and kind. I really should have seen beyond my prejudices."

Luka looked up hopefully.

"Come. I need to thank you for saving me from those pirates."

Mara dragged Luka back to the Jade's Flame...

And they lived hapilly ever after.

Note: When they decided to have kids they combined their DNA and recurred to the Geonosian cloner again. No donations from certain decendants of Leia and Han Solo were needed.

?Mara......will you marry me?? Luke asked nervously.

Mara stared at him dumbfounded. This definitely was not what she expected to hear from the Jedi Master. For a second she did not know what to say. So she attempted to evade the question.

?You mean if we get out of here alive?? she asked. She hoped that reminding Luke of their predicament would reveal how poorly timed the question was.

?I mean regardless.? Luke answered.

He was holding her hands and gazing intently into her eyes. Luke?s face showed a mixture of hope and longing. He smiled at her lovingly as he awaited her answer.

Mara?s thoughts and emotions were in turmoil. There was no doubt that she held deep respect and admiration for this man. And she felt closer to him than anybody else in the galaxy, but was it love? A feeling of panic suddenly rose within Mara. ?Why is he asking this now?? She thought frantically.

The smile slipped from Luke?s face as he picked up on her conflicting emotions. His face flushed with embarrassment. He dropped Mara?s hands and turned away. ?I am sorry Mara...it was wrong of me to ask you that question knowing the difficulty we are in.?

?Luke,? Mara said, her voice was choked with emotion. ?I can?t marry you. I am sorry.?

Luke nodded his head trying to will himself to believe her words, but he couldn?t. Acting in sheer desperation he turned and grabbed Mara around the waist and neck and pulled her toward him. His mouth claimed hers in a passionate kiss. He hoped she would give up her irrational fear of commitment and finally admit her love for him. It might have been male arrogance on his part, but he fully expected her to melt in his loving embrace. But it did not happen. She did not push him away, but she did not return his kiss. It held as much passion as the goodbye kisses his sister would give him. Embarrassed he released Mara. She looked at him with tears rolling down her cheeks. ?I am so sorry, Luke.? She cried.

He was not ready to admit defeat. He was privy to all her secrets; he was not going to let her disavow their love!

?Mara,? Luke started, ?I know you love me. If you don?t want to get married now, that is fine, but you are not going to deny you love me.? Luke?s voice was getting husky from the overwhelming emotion he was feeling now.

?When we were fighting those droids we melded together in the Force. I know everything about you. Your hopes, your fears, your deepest secrets and most private sorrows. I know your very heart and soul. And I know you also know mine. I know you love me! Please don?t deny it, because...?

Mara placed two fingers over Luke?s mouth silencing him in mid-rant. ?Shhhhh,? Mara pleaded with him. ?Luke, think back at what you experienced. You felt my deep admiration, respect and yes, even love, but Luke, did you sense any romantic feelings??

?Of course, I...?Luke stopped suddenly. He thought back. Did he imagine it? Did he just assume Mara was as attracted to him as he was to her? The stark realization hit Luke. He brought his hands up over his face to conceal his tears and muffle his cries. ?No!? he admitted, ?I felt love, but no attraction. No romantic feelings.?

?Luke, it is not that I don?t find you attractive. I do. But I love you more like a brother. It is a platonic feeling I have for you. I am sorry Luke. It is not you, it is me. Please forgive me!? Mara pleaded with her best friend.

?Sith,? She thought, ?I should have just lied to him. We are going to die anyway.?

You can tell Zahn isn't a romance author. But then again I kind of liked the way Luke and Mara's relationship went. Instead of an on again off again type or very passionate one it started out of mutual respect and grew into love.

 

I'm incredibly compelled to write something on my JJSS&B theory, or my Anakin Solo is Anakin Skywalker theory.

Ugh! That is a disturbing thought. That reminds me of a book I read as a kid. I think it was called ?Demon Seed?. It was about a computer who lusted after a woman. I think Dean Koontz wrote it. It was a creepy book.
