Cuz it's sourced from a Pateron link that is a paywall to make money is a big one. But someone getting rumours wrong or elaborating on a single Samuel L Jackson is working with Disney plus gets you to there.

It originated from Daniel Richtman. TBF, he is a solid source and has been proven correct many times in the past. So, I wouldn't take it as gospel (as no rumours should be), but if it does originate from him, there’s sure to be more than a little substance behind it. He's no WGTC or Grace Randolph.

Also, it’s worth noting that he only stated a Mace Windu series was an idea that may no longer be in play. He never said it’s a foregone conclusion.

I just hope that it takes place in the Clone Wars era to the Imperial era.

Maybe after ROTS with flashbacks to before ROTS.

Now that would be nice; the best of both eras.

Ok with this being rumored tv series and maybe with the new reveal in mando. Maybe this show can give more insight into the jedi of this era plus smuggling a certain youngling past Anakin after he survived as both Samuel and GL wants. Maybe he looked after this youngling.

Whether or not we do get a Mace Windu series, I think it'd be cool if we had something else set during the PT era. Since we have multiple shows/spinoff films set in the OT and ST ears now, I'd like them to do at least one more project in the PT era.

I've always had a penchant for a Mace Windu continuation series, set around the time of Mandy, in which he's the main antagonist and centres around his all consuming hatred of the Skywalkers.

I can of hope this show is post empire with the flashback to his youth. It gives both prequel and OT vibes. It really will be the olny series of the PT for now after the clone wars. I hope we get more of the PT fleshed out an hope Kenobi is the last one of the OT era. it go like Mnado past the OT or before it in the PT era. I hope one day for a show between TPM and ATTOC 10 year gap with either live action or animation.

Seems to be a Lucasfilm and Lucasfilm fandom unique illness to announce / spread rumors about tons of movies and series coming soon.
Yet we only have Mando started. I only care for shows/movies that have started filming and already have a release date.
I love Samuel L. Jackson but honestly how stupid would Yoda, Luke and Obi Wan's talk about the last hope look if there were countless Jedi bumbling around. Especially Mace. If I were Luke and would find out that he was there the whole time I would grab him by his ear and slam him again on the death star wrecks. Twice.

I mean Mace could still be alive but die around 5 years after ROTS. In this story we get Mace trying to survive and Darth Vader hunting him. Maybe he helps start early rebellion.

Cassian has also started filming already. That's confirmed by Diego Luna. And possibly, the rumored Boba Fett joint is filming too, according to...people.

They could be like a lot of people and just blame George Lucas.

No, but in A New Hope Obi-Wan tells Luke, "Now the Jedi are all but extinct." So there's always been Jedi from the beginning.

Mace: I was never that huge of a fan of Mace Windu. I guess I saw more Samuel L. Jackson than I saw Mace Windu, I don't know...

Anyway, a young Mace Windu series.

With a fan cast of Ashton Sanders...

...yes, please do this. Yes. Because I will see Mace Windu when I see him and not the actor.

He starred in HBO's Native Son. Was in Best Picture winner Moonlight. And will be in the upcoming Judas and the Black Messiah.

It would be a bold move on Disney and Lucasfilm's part, but hey, it may work. It would be my most anticipated series after Obi-Wan.

How many show rumours have there been? Lots. Don’t see all of those ideas coming to fruition.

Apparently, according to "him" the Obi-Wan series has also filmed "some stuff". No feature films, but so much live-action SW content is coming our way. Quite a strange, exciting and genuinely baffling time to be a SW fan. This is what I dreamed of in 2012. A live-action expanded universe. I genuinely feel for the fans who can't or won't bring themselves to enjoy this.

Okay, wild speculation because it's a day of the week that ends in "y"...

We learn that Mace Windu is the Jedi who took Grogu from the Jedi Temple and hid him. But he's not still alive though, he's dead, rescuing Grogu was his last heroic act. So we learn that it's him, and they do something else in The Mandalorian with that situation, we just have that knowledge.

And with that knowledge, backdoor to a young Mace Windu series. And it's announced during the Disney Investor Day (highly unlikely, but just humor me... ).

Samuel L. Jackson can still play the role as a narrator of his life, or Force ghost guiding his younger self, or whatever. But it's a young Mace Windu series, with my fan cast of above with Ashton Sanders (he may have to gain 10 or 15 pounds, or maybe not; no big deal either way).

J.D. Dillard will helm the project. When his name was first brought up back in February, it was said...
...so if they're still working together, then it's Disney+, because everything is Disney+ now.

So yeah, Coruscant. Jedi Temple. We get to see his Master, Master Cyslin Myr in live-action. Maybe we get to see how he became a Jedi Knight? Maybe get to see what the Jedi Trials look like? The interwebs tell me that Jedi Trials entails...
...so do that. You can probably stretch this for three seasons. Three trials per season. And protection is the last trail and that brings us back to little Grogu, and the circle is now complete. There we go.

And that's about all I got right now.

    How dare you.
I have had the steelbook of Jabba the Hutt: A Star Wars Story on preorder for 6 years but I still believe in Father Christmas. It's coming. I know in my heart that it is.

I hope Mace does not return, but if he does, Boba has to be the one to take him out for good.

The only way a Mace return would really even work for me is if he is blind, one-armed, and doesn't remember who he is. I suppose you could do a story about him re-discovering who he is? In reality, I would enjoy a show about him during the prequel era, but not one with him surviving.

The only way it would work for me, is if we find out that Willrow Hood is really Mace Windu. After losing his memory, he is given this new identity, and somehow ends up on Cloud City.

I would be shocked if they went with Mace Windu being alive. Not surprised, but shocked. Shocked as in no way are doing that (I don't think, at least).

No, Samuel L. Jackson as a narrator of sorts of Mace Windu's younger self is really the only way that makes sense to me.

Which is what was rumored (a young Mace Windu)...
I wonder would a Force ghost work as a narrator of one's younger self?

For an episode of The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles Harrison Ford made an appearance as Indiana Jones.

So just go with a Star Wars version of that, and just do it more regularly with Samuel L. Jackson.

Maybe they can do something with Samuel L. Jackson (Mace Windu) and Yoda as Force ghosts looking back on Mace Windu's younger self...

There are so many things that make a "young Mace Windu" series uninteresting to me. Primarily, it would be set in a period with not much of consequence going on, and worse yet, the endpoint to the character's arc is that he's a borderline antagonist who doesn't have a lot of personality other than to be just a bit of an authoritative a-hole.

I don't entirely dislike the character in terms of the role he plays in the overall storyline, but it doesn't feel like there's either much of a journey there, nor a lot of interesting conflicts to be portrayed.
