Oh no...We;ll I'm glad you are better.

Also I saw a funny tweet about She-Ra and it's kinda true.

In the old Show everyone pretty much had the same body type.

In the new She-Ra instead of everyone having the same body type, everyone is pretty much characterized as teenagers despite some of them technically been a adult.

    Entrapta is 30

Catra and Adora are in their twenties

    etc etc

But physchomogically they are all depicted as teenagers.

With the exception of the obvious ADULT characters like Queen Angella, Shadow Weaver, Horde Prime ...

I have come to the realisation that I have problem with that kind of shows, and shows where many episodes' plots relay upon that the (semi)adult character not knowing something that s/he should know about or have experience in.

If they want the characters to behave like teenagers/children why make them adult?

Well that's why most of the 2018 She-Ra characters ARE teenagers.

Classic She-Ra they were defiantly people over twenty.

Now at least most of the characters are at least 17 or younger....at least according to supplemental material, but even in design.

Except like Hordak and Entrapta but they are special exceptions.

continuing my watch.... and I can't stop giggling and unseeing as Glimmer's wonderful dad impersonates She-Ra but kept his beard... glorious!

Is there any good She-Ra cosplay? Legend of Korra had all kinds of strong cosplayers...

Well, every show is like seeing the universe through a different lense. Old She-Ra show was way different than this one, and if you look at newspaper strips, comics and movies for Masters of the Universe, despite common elements, they all differ stylistically and in tone.

Imagine a more adult gritty storytelling for She-Ra in a live action adaption or continuation of the animated show?

I still have problems to think that cute animated Hordak is the same as nasty comic Hordak.

I wish the makers of the great John Carter of Mars movie adaption would set their eyes to Masters of the Universe and She-Ra. They even did a great Dejah Thoris in that movie that was not completely desexualised but still a well done female character in the movie.

And here I now wonder what a Star Wars movie would look like embracing fully the old pulp scifi feel and style... I mean, ANH cheated using that on posters for marketing and presenting whiney Luke instead of muscled up superhero Luke from the posters in the movie.

I actually had this crossover idea that I never will do between older Masters of the Universe and the Princesses of Power where one of the points was the contrast between comic Hordak and PoP Hordak:
"Sometime after the MotU exiled Skeletor and his evil forces into a outerdimensional prison Skeletor is able to break free but appear in the PoP-‘verse where he begin to rebuild his powerbase by recruiting/creating new minions and one-by-one releasing his old ones from the outerdimensional prison.
    - in time the MotU realize that Skeletor have escaped and send some of their members to PoP-‘verse
    - when Skeletor meet PoP’s Hordak he will most likely be discussed by that PoP’s Hordak is not evil through and through, like Skeletor’s ex-mentor/riva"

oh there is plenty of Cosplay if you just look it up. Lots of Catra too.

In fact here is a fan produced Cosplay sketch made in between season 2 and 3 hiatus

we call those ...the DC comics :p

2018 Hordak best Hordak and second best ship in the show.

    @Gamiel
I know in my own He-Man/She-Ra fan fiction I just say that Horde Prime had dealings in Eternia and fought King Grayskull and the Snake Men.

So not sure if you know this but for a time She-Ra got a reboot in DC Comics....In that Adora starts out with their mind wiped and thinking their name is...DESPERA...and is considers "Hordak Daughter"

That is one nice Hordak Ooglith masquer Adorra is wearing there... wait...

Strong Vongerella vibes... VERY.. STRONG.. VONGERELLA.. VIBES!!!

Tahiriina Kwaadveila as Vongerella... vibes increase!

    *brain clicks* uh oh...

Between TUF and Dark Nest Tahiri was actually Vongerella and active as her in the galaxy...

*further beats coming together forming an idea*

No wonder she was already darker and off the Jedi path in Dark Nest and Luke had to send her to Dagobah... but he did not realize her true new idendity and even when she went to Jacen, long before he became Caedus, it was clear to her where his path lead. And how they would work together ultimately. Did she manipulate him? Did Tahiriina Kwaadveila as Vongerella set Lumiya up to get Jacen into the right mindset to bring Anakin Solo back for her?

And... how nuts am I know?

All I ask about any version of Hordak now is....Is he still dating Entrapta ;)

It makes me wonder what the legacy of 2018 She-Ra will be...Will Hordak and Entrapta now always be a thing....I DEFIANTLY think future incarnations are gonna have Catra and Adora be "A thing" even if they are on opposite sides. What takes from 2018 will stick.

You know is honestly a part of me that is like....What would the Original Trilogy be like if they told it in the style of She-Ra 2018....Wackier OT Trio. Luke and Leia being ACTUAL teenagers (Or at least 18 year old) Han being slightly older....Oh maybe a guy in his twenties himself so that if they have to make Leia and Han a thing they don't make it weird.

Vader a bit more comical but sympathetic.

Imperial Officers that are sweet beans like Scorpia and Entrapta!

    The possibilities.

Sure...I think it be fun if we just got full cartoony Star Wars were the Empire has just as many wacky likable characters along with the Rebels ;p

Also notice and more Horde Prime Valkorian vibes yet.

I used to think he was like Thrawn but then I realized...Oh...he's way worse.

Uh, as somebody who's been into TOR, I don't see a Horde Prime=Valkorian thing at all. Not sure why you keep bringing that up. Valkorian stood out from his previous incarnation as Vitiate by not being Obviously Evil and ruling over a seemingly-stable and advanced society. Horde Prime was very much Obviously Evil, just with a "light" motif instead of the more usual darkness shtick, and his empire was an outright cult of brainwashed clones.

(I mean, they do both have a god complex, but that's like zillions of villains).

I always love the fact Horde Prime is a villain who talks about "The Light" you don't get that a lot and I find it interesting, especially since Shadow Weaver who is a character stepped in darkness...while not redeemed or good, in the end is a ally that plays a part in the final battle to defeat Horde Prime.

Heck even Hordak and the Etheria Horde are characters who are always "In Darkness".

Catra loves to hide in dark areas anyway because those places are actually happy memories for her and Adora to hide and be together.

Darkness is not evil in She-Ra.

My fan-girl knee-jerk reaction is to say "Excuse you! They already are and they already do :_| How dare you suggest otherwise! My angelic widdle monsters who would never harm a glitterfly, except maybe through orbital bombardment, er..."

Thinkin' 'bout this old post this cold wet evening:

Aight Litizens, what's your SD named? Claiming Rhapsody of the Red Nebula for mine. :p

Great now you got me thinking that classic Horde is just the Yuzongvong ;) ...Maybe that's how you do a She-Ra story in Star Wars....Cartoony Vong :)

Vong Hordak ...ha (This joke is funnier when you get further in Season 5 ;))

    @Senpezeco
Hey those are some good names! I like it!

Oh and in other news...Godzilla is getting a anime...yay

TIL that it's pretty much a decided thing in the EU (that's European Union here) to get rid of Daylight Saving Time, and that it was supposed to happen this year but they still hadn't agreed on whether to have Daylight Saving Time (aka "summer time") all year or standard time (aka "winter time") all year when COVID hit and shifted the priorities away from that.

...anyway so it seems that this EU has its own Summertime War now, and it might go on for a while...
