Magic vs. the Force: Which is stronger?

I have spent many years pondering this. Is there a distinction as to which is stronger?

The Force could take on magic, money, the Matrix and the baby Jesus, with one Han tied behind its back.

 

I'm gonna go with the Matrix...

 

The Force is universal. 9 times out of 10 magic is tied to a particular place or planet.

 

Well since neither is real...the Force.

 

Hmmmm, who is stronger. Palpatine or Lo Pan from Big Trouble in Little China.

On one hand Palpatine can shoot force lightning from his finger tips.

But on the other hand, Lo Pan can cross his pinky finger nails together and create a magical chinese warrior.

hmmmmmm,,,,

 

Lo Pan.

 

Well, the Force is the most powerful magic-esque thing I've ever seen without becoming ridiculous. For magic to be sane, it has to have some rules that prevent people from running around being invincible. Those wouldn't count. So, I'd have to say the Force.

...of course, I've never seen the Matrix...

 

You can also drive a truck through Lo Pan. If Vader had tried to push Lo Pan down the reactor shaft, he might have just fallen in himself. Then we would most certainly need a sequel trilogy.

The force for the force is in everything and therefore by default a jedi could control said magic.
