Hello all! How has everyone been? I have been fine, but busy. No surprise there.

Mazzic: I agree that it is about time for YOU to change my signature. Just kidding.

We really appreciated all the input you supplied last time, about the photoshoot. It is very helpful. We have a lot of costumes, but not enough stories. If anyone would be willing to write a story or have suggestions for a story they would like to see, we would be very grateful. Also, any other suggestions at all are welcome anytime. Progress is slow so any help at all is really nice to have.

Here's to hoping that Mara with turn up in "Dark Journey!"

Hey Auburn!! Nice name btw, welcome to the MJFC, I hope to see you posting here soon.

Now onto the introductions, I'm jade_angel (obviously) but everyone around here calles me JA since I loathe being called Angel, I don't have a problem with Jade (much) but its just that about every other big MJ fan has Jade in their name.

Here at the MJFC, we have no restrictions, no rules, save for the basic JC rules that's been stated on the first page. I'd also like to add that it's best if you don't bash a few characters here since others around here are fans of other charachters than MJ. I myself am a big Vader/Anakin, Luke and Ben fan, but I have a certain dislike for Leia and sometimes Anakin and Jaina. I can only tolerate Jacen out of the three solo kids, but that might change if EC does a good job on Dark Journey. Though I'm having my doubts, having red The Crystal (thanks Frodo!!). Anyway, some of my other friends seem to be a big fan of her and I haven't been impressed by her yet.

Anyhoo, why not let us know you better by telling us more about yourself? IE: Why you like Mara, which other SW character you like and your favourite books etc

Darth_Destructo - I never got a formal welcome either, but I've been around for years. I'm always lurking in this forum?just rarely post. Maybe that's why?

Anyway, welcome Darth_Destructo (and everyone else new!)!! I'm Mazzic. I have an obsessive compulsive hyperactive Mara Jade condition, like many people here. Anything Mara, I LOVE it. I'd say I'm probably one of Mara Jade model Shannon Baksa's biggest fans (or possibly ONLY fan ). I also pride myself on gathering as much Mara Jade news as I can!

Speaking of which?I know everything that happens to Mara in DJ!! LOL! I haven't even told Dancer_Lianna!

Anyway, I'd just like to say welcome to all of you new Mara Jade fans, and it's good to see all you old ones! The Mara Jade Fan Club ROCKS!

Anyway, checking in here. Haven't in a LONG TIME. Welcom back Frodo, haven't seen you in ages. I also, if anyone here cares, put a freaky pic up in my bio. I'm in the middle on the bottom. This pic is my best, creepiest and most mysterious yet. hehe.

I also swung by to say, that I may be back at least on a more regular basis now. I have my new machine beside me(FINALLY!!!!), but there is something wrong. So I hope to figure it out ASAP. That and my Proccessor fan fell off in transit. So I need to get everything solved and an internet account again(or pray my old one still works).

As for all the new faces, don't mind me. I'm just a little bit crazy and senile, but welcome anyways!

Well Frodo, I have some talking to do on my comp tonight. It may have to go straight back to California. I don't know for sure, but probably. Some dumkof in the mail delivery service must have dropped it. I started it up and it all went bad. It worked for a few minutes, then nothing. So who knows. If that's the case, collect insurance on it from those idiots and I'll find someone to build it here. Which will take another two weeks or so(I maybe crazy soon from all this waiting!). Oh well.

Anyway, I'll always be around. Just at times over the last several months, I've been busy or just not wanting to intrude on friends to use their comps all the time. Besides, sometimes it ends up being a fight on who gets it. You know. So eh. But I could never abandon this place totally.

The band site isn't mine, wish I could make one like it though. The singers sister runs that. Anyway, I have been busy and not so busy with them at times. We've had a two month down time or so now, recording new material for a full length. Vocals are all that are really left. Otherwise, things for the band are great. We opened up for our buddies and my friends AHC again around New Years. Last minute, another major label band dropped, they handed the opening slot to us. We've sold out of all our old CD's, hence the recording. I have lots to do live. I don't run some stuff manually anymore, but I still have to set it up. Plus I'm getting another new toy to play with soon. Lighting rig, have to learn it here in a week. I also run the lightboard at some of the places we play as well. So you could say I'm busy. Never know when it might become busier.

Never know when my real face will appear(again). I try to remain enigmatic, but don't always succeed. That pic was from the first time we opened up for AHC. Went creepy for fun and I kind of liked it. Face paint ran off kind of fast though.

Anyways as they say in Monty Python...GET ON WITH IT. Yes, sorry to bore all the new people with my statement here, but wanted to catch up. Anyone that wants to get in touch, feel free to do so. Well, I sent off my update to Shada to be posted about DJ...however it won't be posted for a few more days. We have an update about WotC that we want to post first...then, you'll get your Dark Journey info! (relax, people! You'll be getting the info more than a week early, and I usually post stuff the DAY before the book comes out!)

Also, I'd like to give a huge, GOOD LUCK to one of my closest friends, Jenn Mariko (Dancer_Lianna). She's auditioning for a very competitive dance slot - hoping to attend Interlochen - a summer camp in Michigan. Very few girls will make it...and people audition from all over the world. She actually had to travel to Oregon today, to be able to audition tomorrow. When she's there, she'll also be trying out for another big Dance Company's summer program. It's amazing to be able to watch her do all this!

Speaking of which, the photoshoot is coming along...I'm going costume shopping in another town tomorrow. I've also been talking to the a local (well, 2 hours away) Star Wars Fan Club - there are quite a few people interested in the Photoshoot. It appears we'll be able to have some fans create Mara Jade's 2 blasters (normal and smaller wrist), as well as saber! And if we're lucky, Mara might appear in a Fan Film they're in the middle of!

Well, hope all is well! I've been a busy boy lately! More updates for Jade Crusades coming...for the site that is. We still have to completely upload all of the "Art of Mara Jade" feature that will be replacing the "Mara Jade Images" section.
