Was Corvette Summer 2 part of the deal to get Hamill on board? I can't be the only one to know what happened with that bunch 30 years later, yeah?

I know he's a bit older than this now, but this is pretty much exactly how I want Luke to look in the ST (not including clothing). He has a truly badass beard and they'd better take advantage of it.

 

Just to let you know yes - Mark's son looks like a clone of him --- but that is Griffin Alexander - his younger son and middle child. And get this Griffin is 30 years old in that pic; but he's looks 18 --- just how Mark looked like a teen in ANH but was actually much older.

 

Mark was only 24 during most of the filming of the original Star Wars. I wouldn't classify him as "much older" than a teenager. Since Luke is about 19 or 20 in Star Wars, Mark wasn't that much older than him in the first film.

 

I might be alone on this but i'd kinda rather him be without the beard. It's already going to be hard enough to recognize him with the age difference between Jedi and this new film but does he have to be the episode VII equivalent of Obi-wan in every sense? Why don't we just have him die like a punk in the last reel of the movie while were at it? I don't know how bad ass beards are when Qui gon got owned despite having a beard. Have there been any Jedi in their later years who didn't decide to stop shaving and go all scruffy nerf herder or is that like a rule? I'm not too familiar with the EU so maybe they are required to grow the beards. I don't know. I just think Luke should at least appear closer to the way we last saw him only much older of course.

Personally I would have zero problem if Luke had no beard. To the contrary I think he would be way more recognizable as Luke without a beard.

Oh yeah i totally forgot about Mace! Great pic of Cin drallig btw! I knew he was supposed to be in there somewhere in the prequels but with all the stuff going on in those battle scenes it was hard to spot him. Anyone else kinda fond of Kit fisto? I don't know why but i always thought he was a pretty cool character.
Too bad the way he got taken out. So undignified.

Jeeze can't believe Yoda slipped my mind.
He was like the most bad ass Jedi of all and he was beardless. He took on Darth Sidious for crying out loud!
Sure he nearly got destroyed in the process but no other Jedi came closer to defeating him.

Yes, and I hope we will hear his Joker performance as well. Dark Side Luke would anger a lot of people but he could pull the crazy sith lord role marvelously.
