ST Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) in the ST

I think he's chubby because he knows that he will only have another 60 seconds of screen time in VIII.

 

I've decided that I'd like to see Luke shoot Force Lightning at some point. Basically, take what is generally seen as a Dark Side "evil" power, and try and use it for good.

The galaxy doesn't need Jedi anymore. I'm not sure what else to do. It might be hard finding another job. All my references are rocks.

 

I still don't believe that Luke is truly the last Jedi in the galaxy. Even if that simply means he has some padawans who are technically not knights. He definitely didn't just going into mourning after his academy was wiped out. He's been slowly rebuilding it in secret even before Rey arrives.

Edit: btw, good to have decent quality pics of Luke. I was surprissed to see how close his robes look to the classic Jedi ones.

If she's Luke's wife her name probable won't be Mara Jade.

 

One thing I'm pretty sure of is that the "object" in the picture below is a tombstone and JJ wouldn't have filmed it in such an angle if it wouldn't fit the story. It's either a grave for:

• Luke's wife (Rey's mom)
• Rey (Luke thought she was dead)
• Luke's family (Anakin, Luke's wife and Rey)

I'm pretty sure it's not a grave Luke made for Han.

yep and Luke is not looking to the ocean when Rey arrives and he instead stares at the tombstone.

 

I think that Luke is staring off wondering how he's going to negotiate a return to the fight...

He's thinking he should tell Leia "I ain't in this for your revolution, and I'm not in it for you, princess. I expect to be well paid. I'm in it for the money."

 

Or better yet, he's getting ready to say "Hello, what have we here? You look absolutely beautiful. You truly belong here with us among the seagull crap."

I have to wonder if the galaxy still believes the Jedi really tried to overthrow the Republic during the Clone Wars and still do not trust them especially after years of Imperial propaganda. Do they even trust Luke's new order to even function within the Republic anymore? That has yet to be explained by the new series.
