Not necessarily. Patrolians are much smaller than humans, so it could be a Patrolian in a mechanical suit, their main body hidden away in the torso. How's that for a twist?

The only TCW character I want to see outside of TCW is him. Him being some rebel general would just be funny to me.

 

I'm sure Stephen Stanton would be glad to reprise the voice role.

 

He’s one of the voice actors that have carried over between every major canon animated show. I just checked his credits and he also had an uncredited voice role in Book of Boba Fett.

 

Maybe calling him mysterious just means he never takes off his mask. Which would be a good change for TV Star Wars. Hopefully he lasts more than just a couple of fights with Ahsoka. But I honestly doubt he will. I do really like his look, though.

 

As I have said several times the inquisitors have been waisted outside the Grand and Second.

Whoever Marrok is, I think she's female.

And I think she's a changeling.

 

The only way to know if a gender is a fakeout is if people assume their gender before they should have that information. Star Wars loves the “we are looking for a male” “oh actually it’s a female” trope.

 

It's irrelevant whether Marrok is male of feomale, they'll be a very dangerous adversary for Ahsoka. Given that the actor/stuntperson portraying Marrok is the same one who doubled for Timothy Oliphant (Paul Darnell) would suggest Marrok is male.

Even after the flood of trailer's and tv spots, I still feel Marrok is a expendable character.

 

At one point in the trailer, Marrok

is fighting against Ahsoka, while at another point in the trailer, he's collaborating with her against some sort of droids.

I'm not really sure what to make of that, or which scene is chronologically first.

 

The Sith and their lackeys do not always operate dishonorably. More than anything, they like a good fight.
At a point during the Great Duel between Darth Maul and Qui Gon + Obi Wan, Maul uses the force the move the remains of a B1 Battle Droid out of the way of the two opposing Jedi.
Dooku and the Grand Inquisitor actually offered a salute to opponents who had earned their respect prior to duels.

It's a reasonable assumption that the droid is an interloper in the duel and Marrok was having no part in it.
