not just to prevent Wilson from revealing Matt is Daredevil. More importantly, Matt now has more leverage over Fisk especially since Vanessa wears the pants in the family. If Matt can cause a rift between Wilson and Vanessa he will. That was a very extreme way to get on Fisk's good side though

I was not expecting Vanessa to shoot Adam, and add that to her having Foggy killed, and you have one diabolical lady.

Saving Fisk, I mean, it's what superheroes do but here I think Matt wishes to see Fisk, revealed rather than killed.

I wonder if heather will fill in for Elektra as a Bullseye victim.

Fisk wants to be seen as a hero by the public, exposing Matt as Daredevil is fine if it's done his way on his terms with his task force where he looks like he's helping the city.
Why not expose The Swordsman? Because threatening him is more beneficial to Fisk's cause right now.

What I don't get is, why not just have had Bullseye kill Matt? That solves all your problems, he can't come after you physically or legally if he's dead. What does killing Foggy really achieve other than making Matt more likely to break his own rules and become more dangerous?

 

If she knows he is DD then she knows he could see such a shot coming his way. He's hard to mump off. So Foggy goes instead and he was going to expose them if I am not mistaken.

Once Fisk showed where he was and gave her that choice, he had already cornered her. And she did not like it. Which makes me wonder about if Wilson was really the one to move Bullseye…

I think Matt doing that is also so Fisk, in his own sense of honor, feels like he owes Matt and can’t do whatever he was about to do. But Fisk himself is basically bulletproof, he survived a shot to the head through the eye socket, after all.

 

But Matt as a lawyer could still expose them anyway, another reason to get rid of him. Even if you destroy Daredevil, Matt Murdoch can destroy you in court.

 

Unless it’s Matt on trial.

 

The latest episode was good, but I didn't care for the ending. I thought the writing could have been better....

Bullseye decides to take a sniper position with a rifle? He could have walked in the room and started grabbing champagne glasses and throwing them. I was hoping for a bit more action there. And how Bullseye got out was really cool, but now Matt is responsible for the death of the Dr. and the guard.

Yeah, Bullseye as a sniper. He blends in with Fisk's AVTF team, so no one would suspect especially since the Fisks were now aware that Dex escaped. We got the classic Bullseye tooth kill and he did kill the guard with the big roasting fork already. Besides, Vanessa wanted it to look like a hired hit, rather than a specialized kill. This way she could pin Wilson's death on one of the five families, effectively taking another competitor out of her crime game.

Matt living up to Bullseye's snide remark about protecting his worst enemy was true. He's going to be pretty pissed/upset about more innocent people dying as a result of him not taking out Dex.

Fisk was aquitted after Daredevil s3, I guess Agent Nadeem's confession wasn't good enough. Or it was and Fisk's lawyers worked around it. Vanessa mentioned to Dex about Nadeem and police corruption. That only took 2 shows and 10 episodes to find out!

I was so desperate for Defenders when I saw the back of the car driver head and the cop says "Luke?" I was for a second yay Luke Cage. Why did they use that name?

seriously Matt, you know actual Superheroes and your team is some random ass old people and retired cops that can collect old age pension?

They would have to commit to bringing all the Defenders back. Not sure Marvel is there yet. The handful of cops not down with Fisk is a weak pull though.

Luke, Jessica, and Colleen should be there at the very least. Danny hopefully. I could see Hector's niece as the new White Tiger. Spidey, sadly, isn't likely.

I ask because Kinpin sent one of his political aids to kill Matt in hospital (an odd choice I thought) so he knows who he is.
