In TOA, Maul clearly hasn't confronted Vader to that point, unless this is a retcon.

 

Thats not a fact all he says he can not confront Vader alone.

 

I got to agree with you on this one. We say a jedi can't fly yet we can have Ventress brought back from the grave. Its ridiculous. TCW should have been finished and not allowed to have all those extra unfonished episodes

 

And we have Maul brought back from the grave. And Fett. But we'll dwell on Ventress now.

 

It’s ironic now as they use these characters TCW animation for basically everything. If rebels was made today it would be in TCW’s style. Same with resistance

 

Ventress can have great stories post Clone Wars like Maul.

 

I just wish they didn’t bring characters back all the time

 

I wish they never killed her off in a lame book

 

I wish she didn’t come back at all but now neither of us are happy ;p

I'm not sure if they'd use it with Resistance. I think they really wanted to utilize a specific animation to show off the high speed flying scenes.

But depending on who you talk to, that argument can be said of one of a handful of characters whose stories were shown over multiple venues. I'm not a Maul fanboy. I'm not a Boba Fett fanboy. You've seen my posts. But as we all can say, to each, their own.

 

Like what Princess Leia looked like in Return of the Jedi.

 

This back and forth about these supposed-to-be-dead characters has me wondering: is there any chance that Ventress might appear in this Maul show? I have trouble keeping the timelines of these deaths and returns straight. Hell, why not throw in Boba for an appearance or two since this is gonna be about the criminal underworld and then everyone can be happy...or annoyed depending on your point of view.

 

Wasn't Boba still an adolescent here?

 

Yeah but adolescence won't deter the Fett-man. Or I should say boy. There was that Clone Wars ep where he tried to kill Mace Windu so there's a precedent.

 

Maybe in future seasons, Doubt we see Ventress in season one. But we could see 14 year old Boba Fett, Cad Bane, Aurra Sing and such grey characters.

 

Boba would be fun as is Hondo

 

And who stopped him?

Prince Xizor could and should show up in this.

First the one black Sun guy from clone Wars must die. Maybe Maul gives young Prince Xizor the leadership by killing all who had failed him. Would be funny the comics barely mentioned him to have him be major player in animation. I also expect Maul kills Marg Krim of the Pykes and Fife takes over. Maybe some Hutts dies off too. And Dryden Vos gets punished.

 

Depending on how they handle it, we might see Vader killing Xizor’s family, which might put him and Maul into an alliance.

 

Maybe we could see a shadows of the empire animated tv show remake in the future

 

We could see the rise of a young Prince Xizor under Maul
