Megadeth split? Well, after Risk they should have. Don't knock nu-metal, knock rap-metal. Deftones are bloody awesome! ! And System of a Down? Poor boys, you've hurt their feelings. KoRn and Limp Wrizted suck... well, IMHO anyway.

Still, Megadeth had some classics. Rust in Peace was a brilliant album, even with Mustaine's non-testicular vocals!

Guys, when we bash rap, can we specify Gansta versus Hip Hop? And I don't give a good goddam what Nelly et al think they are, if it ain't about the good life then it ain't hip hop. I mean, I hate Nelly, Ja Rule, P Diddy (isn't a diddy what a kid does in his pants?) but it's not the same as Jurassic 5, Black Eyed Peas, The Roots, Mission, Quannum, Roots Manuva is it? One's about money, women, guns and cars, the others about chilling out and positive energy. To quote Mission:
"So many problems existing within the globe/how must you be so narrow minded rapping about money and clothes silly hoes/I guess I label you my bitch/you do what I say and I buy you expensive ***t".

Don't knock hip hop, it's not what they say it is, aight? ;)

yeah, Metallica did "I disappear" for M:I2, which was a sucky song. Come on guys, Master was easily the best, though I'm not knocking "...And Justice For All", the producition was poor. You couldn't hear the bass and the drums sounded like cardboard boxes. Megadeth had some cracking songs, and I think that Cryptic Writings is a brilliant album, though I do like Rust in Peace, Peace Sells and Countdown.

Down have a new album out, it's heaps cool. BTW, if y'all like Metallica and Megadeth's later, say post-Black/Countdown to Extinction stuff, try Godsmack's second album, a'ight?

Here lies the problem with labelling music i dont see korn as nu-metal. They were releasing albums before that name came around and then have been lumped in with them.

Alien Ant Farm (nu-metal?) or heavy rock?

So if we go are going along this lines Metallica=Classical (S&M) their latest (?) album is classical therefore going by some peoples rule they are a classical band.
