No such thing happened, and I've never heard that story in all my time here.

 

Okay, then, I'm guessing that was all just a rumor then. For sure.

 

You're either thinking about SotS who was permbanned and then came back as a sock to later become an admin, or nonexistent hacked threads that don't talk about Sape from 2001.

 

I remember those threads. Really strange.

 

I remember a big brouhaha about Bob being banned indefinately a while back. I also remember being annoyed about it. (there you go Bob, another tick to your ego!)

I also remember Ternian and Hook Line and Sinker being banned on multiple occasions.

I'm pretty sure farraday was banned multiple times before he was modded, so the statement was intended to be humorous.

 

yeah, and then there is the always perfect advice of "Don't get banned!"
which makes e-life a lot easier

Well, we're looking for a mod for the JCC, and an aussie would fit the bill perfectly. I think a DA vs Ternian poll would go to the wire.

 

I wonder if anyone would be willing to move to Oz or Europe to take the job. The MS pay cheque would be tripled for the first month to cover travel expenses.

 

Sapient is just proof that PMing an admin 5 times a day asking to be a mod has worked in the past.
