    Basically, if you have Windows Messenger 4.7, it's already got everything that MSN Messenger 5 has, so no point in downloading it.

    However, if you like you can run both at the same time, and use them with different aliases/passports. I considered doing so, but realized that the more people that can contact me at any given time, the more annoyed I'm likely to get.

    So I'm sticking with just Windows Messenger 4.7.
