This year Chris Rock is hosting the awards show live from Radio Music Hall in New York City.

Among the preformers are Metallica, Good Charlote  , 50 cent and beyonce.

Anyone not on the west coast (Like the east coast and wherever it plays live) who watches this and see's anything to do will Axl Rose or Guns N' Roses should psot so in this thread, give me a pm about it or both

Even though the entire show is dedicated to the awards for "video music", I have no doubt that during the show MTV will keep up it's stalwart tradition of not showing music videos.

It is pretty sad that "Music Television" shows so few music videos, but what's even more sad is that they've even recently started acknowledging it yet seeming have no desire to change it. Their whole recent advertisement campaign for MTV2 is based all on the phrase that MTV2 is "where the music's at." Before they started the current ads with the stupid baby doll crap, there was one ad that I only got to see once or twice of some dude throwing a tv through the window over this couch where some teenagers were sitting watching tv and on the tv he flung through the window it said something to the effect of "the music is on MTV2, now shut up!" It's really makes MTV seem like a snobbish bitch. Thankfully, having DirecTV, I can watch Fuse for my music video fix.

I'll watch, just to make fun of the bad camera techniques and the bad music and how drunk everyone is and how they'll all be on welfare in four years :p

Guns and Roses sucked last year, so I doubt they'll be back.

I'm kind of looking forward to it, now that Chris Rock is back. He can't be any worse than the Waynes brothers, at least.

Oh, and they need to ditch the high definition cameras. They don't really work with live shows.

Yay for crappy music! Surprised Britney or Christina isn't in that list of crappy performers.

Actually, I think Cristina is performing. :(

I'm not watching it this year. Last year's was so horrible it made me want to gouge my eyes out.

Granted, I didn't see the "awards" show, but if you've seen anything live in real HD, you would never, never say that. You have to have an HD receiver to see high definition, a normal television gets a normal signal.
