Oh okay, a FUNGI world. rolling_eyes

    Still don't remember one.

I thought they cut out the montage of the Purge? People are going to be sorely disappointed when they find out Kashyyyk is just a few shots in the film, if that be the case.

    Said who?

I thought people were only going to be disappointed when they find out how much screen time suited Vader's has. :p

I thought it was revealed that there was going to be about seven minutes of footage on Kashyyyk, which is quite a bit, so that's good. They're definitely going to show Felucia during the order 66 montage. It was in the trailer. It's gonna be in there. Listen to Importjedi

Felucia sounds like a serious type of VD.

Some Guy: Man, I got some seriously bad news.

Some Guys Friend: Whats up dude.

Some Guy: Just found out I got Felucia...

Some Guys Friend: Damn man...was it from that hot blonde a couple weeks ago, at "The Dive"?

i also heard from someone that salucami and cato neimeido will also be in the films. I sure hope so, but i don't know if its true, anyone know? Also, how do you pronounce Kashyyyk? I always think of Quiche- yuck when i see it, but i think its pronounced Kash-yik. Anyone?

Mygeeto (Ki-Adi-Mundi), Felucia (Aayla Secura, Barris Offee), Saleucami (Stass Allie) and Cato Neimoidia (Plo Koon) are all confirmed for the Order 66 montage, me thinks.

Mygeeto and Felucia through the trailer, and the other two in Post Notes (CM was mentioned during scoring, and Saleucami when they shot Nina Fallon as Stass Allie).

Lucas gets a lot of the names from his marketing dept. A lot of names look like they were used in daily newspaper word jumbles. They probably have simple word generating program and pick ones that sound cool.

IF GL had a political agenda with his planet names (?) it could refer to one of the main financers and organizers of the 9/11 attacks, Mustafa al-Hawsawi, who in most eyes is synonymous with destruction, chaos and maybe even the devil; things that we also associate with Mustafar.

BTW: a little trivia about the origins of some SW planets

Tatooine comes from a place in the Tunesian desert called "Tataouine", close to where most of the Tatooine scenes were shot.

Endor was a village of Canaanites probably located near Mount Tabor. In 1st Samuel (28: 4-25), Saul consulted the witch of Endor, a medium who lived in the village, on the eve of the battle of Gilboa, in which he perished. - so it goes a bit longer back than Tolkien.

Alderaan is a disused name for the two pairs of stars alfa and beta Canis Minoris (Procyon and unnamed) and alfa and beta Geminorum (Castor and Pollux). The name came from Arabic al dhira`ain = "the two forearms" or "the two front paws" or "the two cubit measuring rods". The last meaning is likeliest, referring to these two conspicuous pairs of bright stars which are in the same part of the sky and best viewed during the northern hemisphere winter.

Hoth origins from a Third Reich general, Hermann Hoth, who fought blitz war in Russia. His army captured Minsk and Vitebsk in "Operation Barbarossa" in 1941. Hermann Hoth and the 17th army's victory in freezing Russia, clearly symbolizes the galactic empire's victory over the rebels on the snow covered planet of Hoth. General Hermann Hoth even looks a bit like General Veers!

the word Mustaphar was in original script of Jedi Bendu in the 1970s, along Valorum, Windu and Utapau

all four words were created back in the 1970s, though there were used in PT as something else. in case of Mustaphar the name was pinned as the name of the lava planet

Nobody else finds it remarkable that the "chosen one" meets his near-demise on a planet called mustafa-R, when mustafa MEANS chosen one?

I think this might help to explain how he was able to survive even though he was exposed to extraordinary heat of approx 400 degrees (K or C I'm not sure).

well, Generaloberst Hoth was commanding the 3rd Panzergruppe of the Armeegruppe center when he captured Minsk, the 17th army you are talking about was part of the Armeegruppe sud. though later on in 1942 he took command of the 17th army in Ukraine and Caucasian area.

Since James Earl Jones is the voice of Vader, it's quite a coincidence that Anakin dies (physically, at least) on a planet named mustafar, when James Earl Jones played Mustafa. Essentially, this is the last time we hear Anakin speak with his own voice. The next time we hear he speak it's James Earl Jones. It's almost like saying its the birth/beginning of Mustafa....ie James Earl Jones. BTW, there is NO mention of a MUSTAPHAR on any of the scripts in the Original Trilogy. Utapau, yes. But not Mustafar.

    Oh come on!

Lucas isn't gonna do things based on an animated character JEJ played in another movie!

I think there is a troll going on here. It is unlikely anyone really thinks the planet was called mustafar because of "The Lion King" when mustafa is a well-known turkish name that means "chosen one." Anybody who responds to these lion king posters is being baited. [face_shame_on_you]

Mustafar means(in hebrew): "home of the evil guy from Iraq"

and Felucia stands for "smurfs Jumping on giant mushrooms"

    SWA.
