This is a light-pen. It can be used as a mouse, but is mainly for drawing on a computer. If you've got the AOTC DVD, you can see one of the concept artists using one in the Previsualisation Doc.

The Village? Yeah, it really was. Ali and I basically just made fun of it the entire time. It's a good movie if you watch it as a comedy.

 

My friend said she and her's laughed almost teh whole way through.

I've never seen (or heard of) the Village, but from your pic Espy it looks like a cheap(and apparently laughable ) version of Romeo and Juliet.
